. Twilightby: Stephenie Meyer October 05, 2005 Something about the hype surrounding this book made it both more appealing, and also less. Less, because it most definitely did not live up to the hype. More, because the fact that I wasn't completely engrossed in this one makes me want to continue reading the series to see if it gets better - because why would people become so obsessed over a book if it wasn't any good? I rated this book 2 stars instead of 1 because it does serve a purpose. I read it on a very long train journey across the UK, and it passed to time - easy to blow through without thinking much about plot, almost impossible to get lost in, even when dosing. It also has a nice cover, and the UK edition is a lovely matte black I really enjoyed. Read More: |
