I really enjoyed this book for the first couple pages, but once I got into it I realized that they write in a way that almost seems judgmental and made me feel that I had done everything in my pregnancy wrong. Certain topics that I looked up in the book I noticed that they were very quick to add the negative and I felt so panicked and scared reading this book. I have read many other books since and have never felt that same panic as I did reading this book. I highly recommend the pregnancy bible, or the complete book of pregnancy and childbirth. I found those books encouraging rather than unsettling. I also found that a lot of information in this book was misinformed according to my doctors, midwives. My Daughter loves this book!! The colourful illustrations are captivating. But mostly it is the melodic and soothing nature of the rhymes... it lulls her to sleep!

Although I would like to give the author kudos for building a different world in this book wherein vampires and other creatures roam the earth and certain people have cool powers (ie Sookie's mind-reading is absolutely fab), this failed to enthuse me enough to suck me in to pull an all-nighter. There were too many characters with non-interesting descriptions that sometimes, you just can't get into it. The mystery was enough to make me finish the book though. All in all, not recommended.

I bought this book as well as the Ferber Method book. I wanted to be well researched. What I loved about this book was the compassionate side. It is written from a mother's perspective rather than a science perspective. It doesn't promise fast results, but give practical tips to the frustrated mother. After 11 days my daughter was sleeping from about 8pm at night until 8am the next morning and only waking at 1am to nurse. It also turned me on to attachment parenting, to which I also bought (and reviewed on this site) Dr. Sears' Attachment Parnting book. I recommend both. THey have totally changed my parenting style for the better.

When I bought this book at the local Zellers, I didn't even know there were other books before it until I made it to chapter three or four, but I read on anyway and loved it regardless. There were enough scenes where Sookie thinks about the past to know what had happened without droning on. It was for this reason that I fell in love with Eric's character. Both of his characters at least, as opposed to being a Bill fan. Which was why the end saddened me, but overall the story was great, and I hope to see more interaction between him and Sookie in the next book, even if it is just him doing his playful flirting

I thank Robert Kiyosaki for the teachings he's shared in the book in regards to the simplification (oversimplification could be argued yes) of the financial systems available - and the patterns of how to break free of the rat race.

This is the book that convinced me that I could go out there and make a million dollars a year on my own gumption, and it's because of this book that I'm where I am today. Running my own business and enjoying passive income.

On the flip side however, MLM's are not the greatest method to reach financial freedom - but they are a great teaching ground for the basics of marketing and sales. Please don't think that every MLM meeting you attend will bring you riches beyond your wildest dreams. Stick to the path that he outlines ... Read More:

Relationships are important. Especially for wemen. This is a great book about relationships. If you need a good advice in this aspect of your life I strongly recommend getting this book among other titles. It's good to study what other have said in order to improve such areas of humanity as falling in love, making love, making sure that your personal life does not intefere with your business, etc. It is a great reading indeed.
