this movie is in my list of most watched movies. its about a witch who loses her power to fly and has to struggle with herself to find who she is to be able to fly again. every witch has a special power that she does best, like her own personality manifested. when kiki loses her power, its like the struggle a lot of young girls (and boys) go through to find out why they're here and who they are. i first saw this movie when i was in grade 7, and her not knowing what her power was at first, finding it, loosing it and then how she gained it back by realizing what was truly important really touched a chord in me. i thought to myself 'hey! i go through that all the time!' and watching her rise out of her inability always made me feel better about ... I didn't enjoy "For Your Consideration" but I decided to give director Christopher Guest another chance by seeing "Waiting for Guffman." Guest plays as Corky a quirky stage director celebrates his small town's history by putting on a play featuring local residents. Having recruiting a fun cast of SCTV and SNL make this one of the most creative comedies I've seen. It has many funny moments, especially from Corky. At times, I'm sure what the actors had to go through was embarrassing, especially when Willard and O'Hara were doing their duet. A way that that was put into perspective for me was when our school put on a performance of `Bye Bye Birdie', and the person who played Gloria Rasputin, a glitzy dancer who is not very good, commented how embarrassing it ... while i don't think this is the best John Candy movie made,it is still
pretty good.i guess it's considered a classic by now,being over 20
years old,and i think it deserves that status.it certainly has its
funny moments.and John Candy is just so likable,how could you not like
him?Dan Akroyd is also in the movie and he does good in his role.it's a
quality family movie,but there is a bit of mild language and implied
sexual innuendo.still,i don't think it's anything the whole family
couldn't watch,except maybe really young kids.there is a lot of
improvisation going on in this movie,which i really liked.the only
negative thing i can say about this movie is that it takes a bit of

Great comedy, lots of action, all the actors and actrices were perfect for their parts, doesn't crap out at any time.

Just look at all that talented acting. Sarandon, Newman, Hackman and Garner kind of wasted. They had the star-power, but it was wasted with the weak plot. The film just never reached its full potential. But had some good moments and is certainly good for a one-time view. Great for the murder/mystery/thriller buffs or if your a fan of one these fine actors then its worth it. Yes, Yes, Reese Witherspoon gets all naked, this alone makes the movie worth a rent :)

My sister and I watched this movie so many times that our VHS tape is all fuzzy and we still continue to watch it! So happy that it was released as a DVD so that we can watch it endlessly! Definitely a must-see "classic" movie!!!!

This is an HBO remake of the original 50's 50 footer. Naturally there had to be some adjustments for the new era. However it still captures the thrills and chills. You may also marvel at the spandex clothing that stretches for ever (rats.)

Nancy (the little woman) does not have quite the devoted husband. Here life is not quite ideal. Soon a chance encounter with aliens (the space type) leaves her feeling bigger about the situation. 50 foot bigger. Now it is Nancy's turn for a little revenge. The ending is a little unnerving.

Be sure to see Daryl in just as serious of a role in "High spirits" (1998)

Lewis and Clark as it could have been. Shaquinna (Lisa Barbuscia) with Bartholomew Hunt and Leslie Edwards are challenged to beat Lewis and Clark to the Pacific. They face many challenges form bears, eagles and the mad conquistador, Hidalgo (Kevin Dunn.) Will they do so? And at what cost?
This movie consists of many comic scenes and slapstick sketches. The main theme is held together by Lisa, who plays the counter part of Sacagawea. She would not look bad on the golden dollar either.

If you watch this your getting 107 minutes, 35 scenes, one movie full of laughs from beginning to end. I never got tired of watching this movie because it's so good. It stars David Arquette, Scott Caan, Oliver Platt, Rose McGowan, Bill Goldberg, Diamond Dallas Page, Sting, Joe Pantaliano, plus many other great actors that are great. It's about two friends Gordie(Arquette) and Sean(Caan) go to watch there favorite wrestler Jimmy King(Oliver Platt) in the ring. Jimmy's boss turns on him and makes him take a brutal beating by Diamond Dallas Page. Jimmy never wrestles again until Sean and Gordy leave the match all mad and sad until they find Jimmy King and try to get him back in the ring so he can regain his belt and get back at those who turned on him.
