"Iron Man" is a comic book movie telling the story of billionaire arms and weaponry mastermind Tony Stark, who after being in the Lion's den of Afghanistan and realizing how much harm his weapons cause the world, quits the arms business, creating a costume and becoming an avenger.

Good special effects, fabulous performance by Robert Downey Jr., this movie is amongst the best super hero movies of recent times. It never really wavers during its 2-hour length time. There's a high degree of social conscience to this movie and the lead actor's emotional transformation is fascinating to watch.

I hadn't seen "Get Smart" since the 1960s but I must say it hasn't lost any of its' humour or inventiveness.Sprung from the fertile minds of Mel Brooks and Buck Henry this award winning series still packs a humourous punch.
The series quickly put into the /60s pop culture dictionary four main catch-phrases:
"Would you believe?","Sorry about that Chief","Missed it by that much(with the accompanying index finger over the thumb) and ".....and loving it".Fact is I find myself to this day periodically saying one of these phrases.I'm not sure what that says about me OR the show(:-)) but that is the impact it had,and it still does.

This series is fantastic! It's based on the books by Cecily von Ziegesar, which I haven't actually read, but if the show is an indication of how good her books are then I will have to start reading them! This series is packed with drama and suspense. Every episode leaves you dieing for the next one to come along.

The series has many smaller story lines inside of one big one. The first is about little Jenny who's trying to fit into the rich popular crowd, despite being younger and not owning all the expensive clothes. The second story line is about Dan, Jenny's older brother, and his relationship with Serena. I have Jillian's book "Making the cut" and the workouts in the book are tough, but having a video with the queen of mean pushing you through the hard parts is even better! I have been involved in fitness for the majority of my life and these three work outs are hard. I am on my 7th day - 23 more days of this seems impossible! All in all, after 30 days of this workout you will be 'shredded'!

I am not sure I liked this season. I liked the idea of fast forwarding the show 5 years into the future but thought that the plot needed more depth and richness. Personally, I have been upset since the third season that Jake and Peyton did not work out. Mark Schwann left that plot line open ended and in an attempt to give Peyton her happy ending, re-visited the whole Lucas love triangle. Running out of women to date in their circle (The only person left was Haley, and she is taken) he suddenly realized that Peyton was the one?! He said the same thing about Brooke and now, who knows about Lindsay....
