Hard Candy

...as many of her detractors hope for. Hard Candy is far from being a brilliant album or the best in pop music but she's still miles ahead of the competition. She's still the entire package with great danceable songs with infectious melodies and hard hitting beats.
This is the closest Madonna has been in the new millennium to replicating her early 80s dance image and it appears many are in fear of her being invincible in the industry. Ironically enough everyone appears to want to have the "old" Madonna back and this album has all the qualities of the earlier era of her career.

The Confessions Tour 2006 (CD/DVD Combo)

I was almost front row at the confession tour in Montreal in 2006! That show is the best one I have seen in this lifetime. The dancers, setting, costumes & music arrangments are outstanding & sizzling! This DVD of the show really represents the vibe & representation very well! The CD is also AMAZING! Trust my word on this one... you want this CD in your car, in your house, in a bar... everywhere!!! You think the confession on a dance floor CD was good... Try this one... even better! Dance the night away!

Madonna is an artist that constantly changes who she is. While she is still the Queen of Pop, her music style changes with each album. I like to think of her as a chameleon; you're never sure what she's going to do and Madonna never does the same thing twice.

Starting out with her pop albums (the self titled "Madonna" and "True Blue") she then switched her focus to sex (who could forget her album "Erotica"? Or her book "SEX"?). Then, after the birth of her children, her focus changed once again to electronica. This change in focus produced perhaps the best selling Madonna album ever: "Ray of Light".

Silva Screen Records presents "JAMES BOND: THE GOLD COLLECTION 45 YEARS" --- Who isn't a JAMES BOND fan, or at least enjoys the film score --- What makes a Bond film so entertaining, besides the incredible stunts and gadgets, is the MUSIC! --- And who better than any other composer to write the music, none other than John Barry and of course the first composer Monty Norman --- Barry took the Bond themes to greater heights than any composer to date --- On the current films, Mr. Barry's music has inspired today's composers to much, that it's difficult not to think of Barry when you hear or watch a Bond film --- The City of Prague Philharmonic always performs Barry's music better than any other composer or orchestra, perhaps the reason could be Nic Raine at the helm --- ... American Life

I really loved listening to this CD. Madonna has changed her style on this album & makes it very enjoyable. The accoustic arrangments are great & the songs are all good. I fyou like this CD. I recommend you purchase the CD +DVD combo of her live show "I have to tell you a secret".

I do not find this song good enough to purchase the single! I am a hard core fan & her "sticky & sweet" album is rated 3 to my standards. Just stick to the album but drop the singles... You will be dissapointed. This coming from a woman that collect's all Madonna's albums & singles!

I am a Madonna fan to the core! This album is a collection piece. There are too many good songs to enjoy! You do not have to be a Madonna fan to get "like a prayer". You will anjoy as this one is timeless!
