If you're actually wondering whether or not to buy this album, give your head a shake. It's an absolute must-have, timeless classic! Like someone else said, this is the album to get if you're just getting into Neil (which admittedly does take time). I can remember laughing as a kid when I heard Neil sing, shakey voice and all. Now I can't imagine a more talented artist on the planet, and I absolutely can't get enough of him. Every song on this album is fantastic... It's hard to mention specific stand-out tracks, but some of my favs include: Man Needs A Maid, Cinammon Girl, Helpless, Ohio, and Needle & The Damage Done. You simply can't go wrong with this album.

At long last the voice of Iced Earth, Matt Barlow, has returned. Longtime fans coming to this album may find that the music on the album is not at all experimental or diverse from previous releases but still offers the band's signature sound from recent years mastered to excellence as only Jon Schaffer can do. The storyline from Framing Armageddon concludes but even if the concept and story do not appeal to you, the power metal inspired music probably will. The band hasn't returned to their old thrash sound but still offers the critical old school base much to enjoy here. It really is hard to write a review of the album without highlighting Barlow's return and there's a reason for it: his rougher vocals suit the material far better than Tim Owens' ... Read More:

I bought this set today and immediatly noticed a brighter sound. I still had my old versions still on my computer so I decided to listen to them, to see if it was just me not listening to them for a while. I played Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and it was flat and dull, very quiet. I played the BB version and it was louder, which meant less blown speakers, and cleaner. A chucked my old, unofficial CDs away. This set has great remasters. The packaging is nice too. The digipackaging is nice, duplicating the records. The box is black on black text so it is a little tough to read. The book is full of glory, with stories by from the guys (A lot of it is Tony). The photos are great, and in b&w too. The text is white on black, so it's easy to read (unlike the text ... Read More:

For Those About to Rock gets a bad rap. People expected Back in Black 2 and that just wasn't going to happen. What they got, however, was an outstanding follow up to one of the greatest metal albums ever.
This album is much edgier than back in Black, harkening back to the Highway to Hell days. The songs are heavier than Back in Black on the whole and have a much darker feel.
The title track is a staple of AC/DC live shows to this day, unfortunately, because the overwhelming consensus is that this is a 'weaker' album, they don't do as many of the other tracks as they should. The lesser known tracks that are standouts from For Those About to Rock are Evil Walks, C.O.D., and Let's Get it Up.

INTRO:In the course of their careers bands generally release live albums,i was surprised Megadeth had not done until now and "That One Night:Live In Buenos Aires",their first live album is greater than what one could have expected from a live album. The band sounds as good as ever if not better than before, the lineup on this album is incredible.Great performance, great songs,a Live album containing 22 songs from different eras of the band.
REVIEW:A great Live concert consisting of classic songs like "Reckoning Day","Symphony Of Destruction" and most recent songs as "Blackmail the Universe","That One Night:Live In Buenos Aires" is very complete and well done live. The songs are played greatly, everybody will tell you this concet sounds and looks great and the ... Some people will say that rock music just can't be played this well live. Well having seen the later version of The Who, with Kenny Jones as the drummer, I can tell you that even from the back seats, they sound this good!! With Townsend suffering from tinnitus, the emphasis for a long time has been sound quality, rather than massively over powering, garbled mumbling. I have to say that I have this edition with the extra tracks and it is truly amazing to listen to. It just goes to show that if the sound system is set up well, that the live recording can tell you about the bands music and their stage presence. Listen to this and you will realize why The Who were so highly rated as a live band.

The best. Well, along with "From The Cradle". Oh, and "Unplugged" is really great, too.
Anyway, Eric Clapton wasn't totally comfortable with the rĂ´le of front man early on in his career, and so he hid behind the "pseudonym" of Derek and the Dominoes, wishing to escape the superstar expectation that sank Blind Faith. He gathered the rhythm section from Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett's band, with whom he had just toured, and retreated to record this album, which still stands as his greatest achievement. It burns with passion, and having spectacular slide guitarist Duane Allman alongside Eric Clapton is every bit as great as you would have guessed.
"Derek And The Dominos" tear through the best, most consistent collection ... Read More:
