I am so impressed with this album. It is in my opinion, neither classic country nor is it rock. Johnny Reid is a sound all on his own. I work at a music store and I have recommended Johnny Reid to many people without any bad reviews. I start my day with him and I am very happy with it. Give him a try...never know, you just might like it. My favorite track is number 9, "To the end of the road".

I've listened to this CD about 5 times now and I've been so pleasantly surprised! I rarely listen to radio, so I'm not sure if she's overplayed or played much at all, though I've heard of Suddenly I See somewhere before. What I'm trying to say is that I'm listening to her CD with a bit of an unspoiled view, not having heard her much at all before. KT's voice is strong but feminine, capable and expressive in a gutsy, straight-forward way. It's folksy pop (at times with a bit of bluesy pop thrown in), but really good folksy pop. Music that's rememorable and catchy but not formulaic and fluffy so that it'll be be tiring after a while. And the lyrics are mature and well-written too. There's nothing trivial about this CD. An essential souvenir for those who were lucky enough to catch "The Hard and The Easy" tour and a must-have for those who didn't. The fact that the boys love what they do shines right through. Captures a lot of the banter between the group, as well as their abundant energy. The "living room version" of "Sea of No Cares" is worth the price alone. The bonus videos are great to have.

This is a great way to remember one of the best collaborative efforts ever. The DVD documentary is a must see for anyone interested in the songwriting process. These songs are timeless, as fresh today as they were when first released. Very much a must have.

When hearing upon the first record entitled "sometimes" it was good , but puts you in a down state after its done if you listen to it to its entirety , this album however , is far different than that , has alot more going on (gord downie makes an appearance) , its more uplifting and joyous at times , it really blew me away ,so different than the first one , i was afraid before i heard this record that it would sound overproduced , kind of like the difference between the first our lady peace recore and the second , but Dallas doesn t look for the mainstream , instead , he creates his own path , brilliant and suprised to say again uplifting compared to the first album , and the way it was recorded makes it feel like he s playing right beside you , sounds ... Put togheter the 27 or so number one hits the Beatles scored during their career on an album and add to that a bestselling status to it and you`ve got this,"The Beatles 1" greatest hits album.Lets just say that the album gives what it claims,the number one charted songs of the band and all the songs are good there`s no denying that.Its a compilation,yes in some ways but this particular one has done so well on the charts and its still selling strong up to this point,i guess what some may call "a bunch of has-been old hippies" are still popular,right?Otherwise how do you explain the strong sales of 1?No need to explain much,the Beatles are legends and helped shape the sixties and they revolutionnized music forever,i can`t even imagine what music would have ... Back in Black has to be considered one of the best metal albums of all-time with two of the best metal songs of all-time in Back in Black and You SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT. AC/DC shines with this album.

There aren't enough words to express how great this album is and every AC/DC fan should have this album!! ONE OF THE BEST METAL ALBUMS OF ALL-TIME. IT'S A CLASSIC!!

If you're over the hill (i.e. past your tween years) then this probably isn't your kind of music. Like the Jonas Brothers et al, this is bubblegum pop, targeted at a new generation of music fans - after all, each generation needs SOMETHING to raise the hackles of their parents.

Cyrus co-wrote eight of the twelve tracks on the album, and two of the remaining four are covers. Surprisingly, after a few dozen listening experiences from the confines of the car, there are a few tracks that have grown on me, or perhaps I've grown accustomed to her voice.
