Some amazing music and some filler and loads of creepy sound effects. The Wall is Pink Floyd's or should I say Water's most ambitious project. An epic double lp that is overly long to say the least. The concept of this lp suffers from being overly complex and not that clear ( to me at least).

However, lots of great classic Floyd tunes like Comfortably Numb, Mother, Goodbye Blue Sky, and Another Brick in the Wall Part 2. Pink FLoyd's last great album is not a masterpiece but is essential none the less.

Doesn't get any better than this cd. Velvet smooth vocals, extraordinary production & supporting musicians. While the song mix may be somewhat eclectic, there would be no disputing that the Bublé signature has been carefully and respectfully put to each and every song. As Canada's Juno Choice as Best New Artist only a few short years ago, Bublé now finds himself recognized with 5 (five!) Juno nominations for this years awards - homegrown talent has hit the world stage. Long live Michael Bublé, who talks proudly about our great country and I'm proud of him, a Canadian Crooning Treasure.

I keep watching this DVD over & over. Josh Groban is a great singer, entertainer & speaks beautifully. He is also an accomplished musician & song writer. I love the variety in his songs. Highly recommended.

For a band that whent through so much high & low in their career, going by mutiple member changes, record company hassle & even their singer having to battle cancer, & release a such a powerful album is nothing short of pure strenght & determination. The Formation Of Damnation reunites the original members of the line up (minus drummer Louie Clemente) that offered us such classics like The New Order & Practice What You Preach. The return of lead shredder Alex Skolnick is truly felt on all of the songs; Not only as a musician but a song writer as well. Testament definetly raised the bar for all Thrash Metal bands that plan to release an album in 2008.

Oh My Darling

Seeing Basia live at the Calgary Folk Fest where she went down a storm ( working the stage on her own and with the Great Lake Swimmers ) was great, she has already started adapting her songs from the album, the standout tracks being In the Night and I was a Daughter.

Her vocal has more depth and complexity to it than most of the other female singers around and this is what sets her apart.
