Singable Songs For The Very Young

Singable Songs for the Very Young was originally released in 1976. I was born two years after that, and this album (cassette tape actually) was a staple in my family. I can remember my younger sisters and I belting out "Must be Santa" or "Mr Sun." in the back of the car on long trips.

We also had the record for "Corner Grocery Store" and I can clearly remember dancing around the living room and singing along with my sisters to the silly songs on that album.

Wanting to share these songs with my own children, I got Singable Songs for my two year old son. As it turns out, he loves the songs too and we have a lot of fun together singing and dancing. His favourite song is "Bumping Up and Down in my Little Red Wagon."

Safe Trip Home (Dlx Ed)

Dido is back with a more introspective album, yet she seems to talk more about her personal life for she lost her father. Intimate and well produced, I like this album which is somehow less commercial but maybe will have a longer life in my library! I would also recommend the recent Enigma Seven Lives Many Faces and if you are looking for another female vocalist I would recommend Marcome with River Of Soul, ethereal pop world music, very ambient.

If you ever have the chance to go to a Celine Dion concert, I would recommend that you spend the money and take advantage of the opportunity. We went to a Celine Dion concert last night, and I can tell you that she is amazing. I can understand that Celine Dion is not popular amongst all Canadians; but if you can put aside your opinions abour what she values and how she chooses to live her life, then you can see what quality made her rich and famous: which is the ability of her to express herself musically. This latest disc that Celine Dion has put out reflects and exposes her amazing talents, and takes listeners on a musical journey throughout her career life. If you love the Jonas Brothers or even liked their previous albums, then this CD is a MUST! I pre ordered this and absolutely luv it!!!! the songs are incredible i just can't wait till their next album!!! :D
