Somewhere in Time

starring: Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour, Christopher Plummer, Teresa Wright, Bill Erwin
directed by: Jeannot Szwarc

March 01, 1992
I've never been able to understand the appeal of this refuse. Time travel, by means of scientific theory is silly enough, but wishing it to happen? Please.

Who needs Dr. Kevorkian? This thing will have you reaching for the melon ballers and carpenter awls to remove your eyes and puncture your eardrums for relief from this atrocity.

Devils Advocate

starring: Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, Charlize Theron, Jeffrey Jones, Judith Ivey
directed by: Taylor Hackford

February 04, 2003
The story a lawyer who works for the devil, not as dumb as it sounds, in fact a surprisingly great movie. Both Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino in great roles.

Aviator, the

starring: Christopher Reeve, Rosanna Arquette, Jack Warden, Sam Wanamaker, Scott Wilson
directed by: George Miller

September 30, 1997
The plot of this survival movie is adequate. But where the movie really shines is in the relationship between Reeve and Arquette and the changes they inspire in each other. If you are a Reeve or Arquette fan then this should be a must have. If you're not a fan you may well be after watching this film.

Superman III

starring: Christopher Reeve, Richard Pryor, Jackie Cooper, Marc McClure, Annette O'Toole
directed by: Richard Lester

April 01, 1992
After getting off to a great start, the Superman film series, got muddled a bit by a director change while filming Superman II. Thanks to the fact that Creative Consultant Tom Mankiewicz's original story for the sequel stayed intact, despite all of the backstage hostility, Superman II still manages to work. Superman III, hovwever, is a whole nother matter entirely, with its own set of problems.

Gus Gorman (Richard Pryor) is a down on his luck computer genius, who is hired by Websco industries, to doa meanial data entry. Soon though Gus learns how to imbezzle large sums of money. When CEO Ross Webster (Robert Vaughn) finds this out, rather than send him to jail, Webster uses Gus and his computer skills to hold other competitors around the world at ... Read More:

Deathtrap

starring: Michael Caine, Christopher Reeve, Dyan Cannon, Irene Worth, Henry Jones
directed by: Sidney Lumet

April 19, 1989
Deathtrap is a truly underrated thriller. While it starts off slow considering most audience standards, it quickly dissolves into a clever, suspenseful, and ingenious comedy thriller. While the first act fares better than the second, the film is fun throughout, taking the audience on a ride of "Who is working against whom and why?" While not always surprising, it's an engrossing little puzzle to try and figure out, and the climax is a suspenseful nail biter. Ira Levin has brought us some true classics (The Stepford Wives, Rosemary's Baby) and this should be among them. It is a twisted good time. Highly recommended to mystery fans.

Superman II

starring: Gene Hackman, Christopher Reeve, Ned Beatty, Jackie Cooper, Sarah Douglas
directed by: Richard Lester

March 05, 1992
for me,this movie was not as good as i remember it the first time.i
found it boring,to be honest.i also didn't like the story that much.it
just didn't seem to have much depth to it.on the plus side, though there
were some humorous bits.but this movie lacks the epic quality of the
first one.the villains are only mildly interesting, although they should
be more.also,as far as i can tell the filmmakers didn't completely
stick to the Superman lore, having the character do things he probably
would not actually do.anyway, this movie is a significant drop in
quality.it's not a horrible movie by any means, but it could have been
much more.for me Superman II(the movie itself) is a 3/5. if you include
the extras,it's a 3.5/5

Childrens Toyshop VHS : Anna Karenina
.

Anna Karenina

starring: Jacqueline Bisset, Christopher Reeve, Paul Scofield, Ian Ogilvy, Anna Massey
directed by: Simon Langton

June 20, 1997
This beautiful classic love story with its beautiful classic stars has been slashed almost beyond recognition. What is even more upsetting is this version of this movie in its original presentation was at least 2 hrs 18 mins. long. I know this to be true because I saw it on TV and taped it at that time. (Since giving this review, I have learned that even the version I taped had been cut. I understand this movie originally ran about 2hrs & 40 mins.) I have been hunting for this movie as it was originally meant to be seen for years. I bet there are many, many people who would have been happy to pay additional cost to get "the whole thing". I rated it 5 stars because the costuming & locations are so beautiful and the chemistry between Christopher Reeve and Jacqueline ... Read More:

Mortal Sins

starring: Christopher Reeve, Roxann Dawson, Francis Guinan, Weston McMillan, Phillip R. Allen
directed by: Bradford May

September 26, 1995
I enjoyed watching the movie. It wasn't the most action packed, but it was good. I liked Roxann Dawson's acting it! That is why I got it. She doesn't show up too much, but when she does, she's great!

Childrens Toyshop VHS : Superman IV

Superman IV

starring: Christopher Reeve, Gene Hackman, Jackie Cooper, Marc McClure, Jon Cryer
directed by: Sidney J. Furie

March 05, 1992
this movie had a better storyline than number three.(actually there's
two story lines).it isn't as silly either.the problem though, lies how
cheaply made it is.the special effects,if you can call them that, are
laughable.the acting also seems to suffer here.it seems the actors knew
they were in a a poorly done movie,so they may as well put as little
effort as possible into their performances.frankly,to me,most of the
actors look embarrassed to be there.i will say that choice of villain
was good, but the character himself is too over the top for me.plus, the
fight scenes are way too protracted.the movie does also get a bit sappy
at times, which i guess you can expect given its subject matter.still,it
was a bit too much for me.however, despite ... Read More:
