This is a simple comedy about marriage and work in the 60's. A wonderful movie up there with the rest of Jack Lemmons'other great comedies. A DVD version is needed! When???

I would give this DVD 5 stars if all the movie was here, but it isn't, hence 3 stars. There's no excuse for this considering that no major restoration has been attempted here, the storage capabilities of DVDs are huge, and MGM has already released the full-length movie on VHS. The deleted scene feature is a mess. Watching the scenes seperately is tedious and not much fun. The least they could do would be to put the deleted scenes in the order that they appeared in the original film. The third and fourth scenes appear to be exactly the same as do others later on. A little heard of film, "Who's Minding the Mint?" is classic comedy that the entire family can enjoy.
Hutton plays a clerk in the Washington mint who inadvertently takes home and destroys $50,000 in his garbage disposal. Somewhat of a playboy and flashy liver, Hutton is closely watched by his boss, "Missing" Link.

The humor of the movie is watching as more and more people get involved in order to print up the missing money -- and of course, Hutton is under a time limit as the auditors are coming on Monday morning. Naturally, each of ... Read More:

I don,t understand why Disney releases "The Ugly Dashhound" in widesrceen and then releases "That Darn Cat" in full frame when both movies being equally popular! This little classic movie like other Disney releases (ec Third man on the Mountain) deserve there original widesceen formats transfered to dvd because most people either own or soon will own a widesceeen T.V. For now I will still enjoy Hayley Mills, Dean jones and the rest of cast o ya and of course "That Darn CaT" in this fun mystery adventure!
