Titanic is an all time classic and James Cameron's version is by far the best. The characters are so real and the story line is based on true events. The movie is in 1912 and all the costumes and props all look like they are actually from that time period. The set is down right spectacular and the special features and the Céline Dion music video are positively amazing. The cast is really great and I love both Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. I can't help but cry every time I watch the show and I feel as if I'm actually aboard the great ship. If you haven't seen it you have too, it is well worth your time.

at the time i watched this movie,i hadn't been very interested in
Western movies.but because this one was directed by Clint Eastwood and
had a star studded cast,i decided to give it a try.boy,i'm glad i did.i
really enjoyed the movie.Eastwood also stars in the movie,along with
Morgan freeman,Gene Hackman,Richard Harris and Saul Rubinek,to name
just a few.each of these A one actors are at the top of their game
here.Eastwood crafts a gritty,dark version of the old west during a
harsh and unforgiving time.the movie is brutally violent and
unflinching in its portrayal of the time.some may find it
depressing,and it does have that air to it,but i wasn't bothered by

Terrific cast, gentle silliness. Craig Ferguson is wonderfully absurd and Donal Logue is his usual entertaining self in a supporting part. If you liked Saving Grace or The Tao of Steve, this is a great little movie at a great price.

at the time i watched this movie,i hadn't been very interested in

Jane Fonda was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress for her performance in this movie. I do not recall now who else was nominated in 1986, but I cannot imagine that they did better than she does as a fragile alcoholic who wakes up in bed with a dead man and hasn't the foggiest idea how she got there. "I once was an actress," she tells Jeff Bridges who plays an ex-cop who tries to help her. Both Bridges and Raul Julia, Fonda's exhusband and straight hairdresser-- one of the six in captivity-- both give adequate performances; but this movie belongs to Ms. Fonda. (We can only hope that she gets back into acting soon.)

this movie has the based on a true story tag,but i'm sure there were
dramatic licenses taken.the people in the story are real and some of
them are probably still around.that much is certain.beyond that,this
movie makes for light,though pretty entertaining viewing.it does seem a
bit far fetched at times,though.and the story is pretty thin.there is
really nothing offensive about the movie that i can tell.there's is no
foul language or nudity.there are a few intense scenes with animals
that might be a bit too much for young children.i think the movie would
be suitable for kids 10 or older,but parents should always use their
discretion.overall,this is a fun movie the family could enjoy.for

Clint Eastwood's 1999 release, True Crime, was based on an Andrew Klavan novel and filmed in a style that reminds me of movies made in the late 70's or 80's. As I watched the first few minutes, my first thought was that poor Clint was to old to portray the part of Steve Everett and this movie had been a waste of money. At first, it actually kind of "creeped me out" watching him come on to the beautiful young women in the movie, but you cannot always judge the movie by your first impressions. Steve Everett is a cheating husband, a horrible father, a recovering alcoholic, and a womanizer, but he is, first and foremost, a newspaper reporter with a "nose" for the truth.
