Unlike the timeless 5-star Christmas and Halloween classics, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving falls short. Here the gang has been transplanted from the small-town Midwest with its dark, cold fall and winters to some suburban-type setting where people can walk around in shorts in late-November.
Instead of the earnest adult-like children, we get an attempt at early-70s hip wisecracking. Further severely dating the show to 1973 is the soundtrack, typified by the horrid jazzy blues vocal number "Little Birdy" and a fight snoopy has with an animated lawn chair (segment is total filler).
The voiceovers are distracting too. Although, the actors who did the Christmas and Halloween specials were certainly well into adolescents by the ... Read More:

i really enjoyed this animated adventure.it's got action, drama, and humour.the characters are well defined, and the animation is top rate.the voice actors(including Michael J. Fox)fit their characters very well and put a lot of effort into the characterizations.the storyline is compelling and engaging.most of all,the movie fun and well paced.and the movie has an epic feel without the epic length.i think most people will enjoy it.for me,"Atlantis:The Lost Empire" is a 4/5

Why must they stick to this archaic way of releasing their movies on video/DVD? I could understand discontinuing collector's or limited editions, but why discontinue entire movies? Well we all know the answer, I just hate to be jerked around like this. Disney is the largest movie company in the world but our enjoyment of their films is based around their idiotic release/discontinue schedule. Well, with that unpleasantness out of the way, I must say Toy Story 2 is my favorite animated movie of all time and the Toy Story series is my favorite animated series (if you think about it, though, that's not saying a lot). Let's just do this in the order they came out. Toy Story blew my mind, because the things they did in that movie (the first in particular) ... Read More:

This all time classic Walt Disney film, will get your heart pumping with feelings of joy and love. It will show you that love can be found in unexpected places. This fairly tale takes place a long time ago. Belle¢s father, an inventor, was on his way to a fair, but took a wrong turn and ended up at a castle. When he doesn¢t return home, Belle sets off to look for him, and in turn becomes a prisoner in the ferocious beast¢ castle, where it¢s filled with talking furniture, who in the end turn back into there human form. Now Belle no longer has to look into books for an adventure, for she is on one of her own. As the two spend many days and nights together, Belle shows the beast how to love. This amazing enchanted ... Read More:

Made during the Disney wilderness years following Walt's death, Bedknobs is a re-tread of the hugely successful Mary Poppins. However, if you're going to re-tread a film, it might as well be a classic! Check off the ingredients: - initially cold matronly female lead who the children and audience quickly warms to, capable and charming child leads, a perky male side-kick, an animated/live action interlude that has nothing to do with the plot, a Sherman brothers score, an episodic structure, a general magical story-book quality to the film etc. Angela Lansbury gives her most likable screen characterisation (apart from perhaps Jessica Fletcher!) and shows to those not familiar with her Broadway career that she can sing and dance. David Tomlinson brushes off the stuffy ghost of Poppins' ... Read More:

I was in the library with my niece and she grabbed this DVD. How can you say no to someone with the most adorable eyes. So I checked out the DVD, we went home and had a wonderful, wonderful time. This is the kind of movie you can appreciate no matter how young or old you are. James P Sullivan (voiced by John Goodman), and Mike Wazowski (voiced by Billy Crystal) are monsters who work for Monsters Inc. Sulley is the best at getting his fair share of scares, but he has some competition in Randall who wants to be the top scare monster. The more screams collected, the more energy for Montropolis. The monsters are led to believe that if a child enters their "world" they will be contaminated and everything could be destroyed. The real fun part starts when this adorable human child named Marry ... Read More:

This is one of those films that has stood the test of time and is still entertaining now as it was 40 years ago. Everyone knows the tale of the magical nanny that blows in on the east wind and into the lives of the Banks family of 17 Cherry Tree Lane. Jane and Michael Banks have had a succession of strict nannies as well as a very strict father and a mother who is always out with her fellow suffragettes. Mary Poppins brings magic and fun into the children's lives, something that has been sorely lacking prior to her arrival.
Julie Andrews stars as the nanny and Dick Van Dyke as the lovable cockney Bert, (just forgive his dreadful accent) who always seems to be around at the right time for an adventure. The children find themselves having outings such as jumping into a chalk picture into a cartoon ... Read More:
