For some reason, I never saw most of the Disney classic movies when I was growing up - but I'm certainly having a good time watching them all these years later. Dumbo, of course, may be the most beloved Disney film of them all - despite the fact that it is relatively short (64 minutes), sports a pretty simplistic style of animation, and features a main character that never speaks a single word. The film's popularity is due in large part to the story itself, as there is a little bit of Dumbo in all of us. At some time, we've all been embarrassed by our appearance, laughed at and snubbed by those around us, and been made to feel like a complete loser.
Everyone knows the story already. Poor little Dumbo, with his big ears, is ridiculed ... Read More:

i've watched this movie when i was still in grade school, and now that i'm in college, i still love this film. but, sorry to say that this movie is not at the market anymore, i have a copy, but it's on beta max, and it's not that clear anymore. it's been a long time that i've been searching for this movie. finally, one of the video shops whom i always rent laser disc when i was still a kid, put their laser discs on sale, luckily there's still a copy of the original mannequin 2 on the move laser disc, and it's still working and very clear. i bought it, then, i went home and watched it on my laser disc player tight away. i'm really happy.
Probably one of the greatest films ever made. You will recognize John Mills but do you recognize a very young Jean Simmons. This movie is a faithful adaption of the Dickens classic. The acting is great. Even the lighting appears to come from candlelight in the indoor scenes. I wish I could afford it. 5 stars.

I just received this video and was very pleased with its condition. For Only $2.00 it was in great investment and I know that my children will love it during the holiday season.

I've seen both 'The Man From Snowy River' and 'Return to Snowy River' and loved them both. They are wholesome movies to watch with a lot of action, but not violent. Whenever we had sleepovers these were the movies to watch. I definetly recommend watching 'The Man from Snowy River' first though. The scenery is beautiful, the cast is great, Kirk Douglas playing double roles is always good. The story line, and if you love horses this is a movie for you. It's a movie for all ages and both guys and girls. It's not a total 'chick flick' or a 'guys' movie.

Having been a hard searching person for the sequel, I stumbled upon the first part and decided to throw it into the large video collection I own. It has a great impression of Lewis Carroll's Alice stories, but with a modern twist. Jaime Reneé Smith plays out a young girl who recently gets an antique mirror from her dead grandmother. She discovers soon that it is a magical passageway to a world unlike her own. The special FX are good, the acting is pretty good but some of the story is very future-istic. I mean, catching children from other planets! FUTURE-ISTIC! But otherwise, this is a movie kids will cherish over and over again. I liked it, and so will you.

Pretty Woman was an absolute delight and I loved it. I loved the way the two denied their attraction to each other and then falling in love in the end. It took Vivian to get Edward to relax and thats was part of the attraction to the movie. What a delight!!!

This film is an earnest telling of chapters 25 through 33 of Genesis, and starts when Esau sells his birthright to his twin brother Jacob for a bowl of pottage (red lentil stew), and then gets maneuvered out of his father's blessing by his mother Rebekah. She knows Esau doesn't listen to God's voice, and his two Canaanite wives are a wearisome thing in her life, so Jacob is sent off to her brother (who has daughters), some 400 miles away, where Jacob falls in love with the attractive Rachel...and once there, "everything he touches, flourishes". It is a narrative of great faith and perserverance, and the relationship between Jacob and Rachel is touching and sweet.
Most of the story follows biblical lines, with a few additions; one of them is ... Read More:

I think that I love this movie more than my kids do!!
I find myself singing along with the songs, and The story is very heartwarming. I relate to poor Max and his exasperation at some of his father's goofiness...I remember the days when I was mortified to be seen in public with my Parents!!
I loved it so much I went out and got the sequel "An extremely Goofy movie" and I was so sad to see that it did not live up to the original...no catchy music!! The music in the first one is the best part!! I was very dissapointed.
You will love this movie not only for the Music, but also for the lessons that it teaches your children about family. I have found a favorite for a lifetime!!

I think this is a wonderful adaptation of a wonderful novel. The acting is superb. The cinematography exquisite. Juliet Stevenson and Tim Guinee are extraordinary. It is well worth your time.
