$70.00 for a computer game? If that is not a rip off then I'll eat my hat.
I will not buy any computer games from amazon.ca because the games they have in stock are over a year old!

Halo: Combat Evolved

This game is by far at the top of my list of "kick ass PC games". Graphics are awesome, great story line (I've read all 3 books), game play is great, and the AI is actually smart though not brilliant. My only beef with this game is; WHY XBOX FIRST? IT WAS MENT FOR PC FIRST!

Actually, though multiplayer is pretty good, its nothing much to chat about. CTF, elimination, KotH, T/FFA, get to drive or fly around. Sometimes its slow as each map is so huge that you need the vehicles. Kicking options would be nice as there are a lot of a$$e$ out there TKing.

The game starts off great, good story and lots of hooks coming back from the first game. After countless dead ends and plot twists that go nowhere I got fed up. This is easily the most frustrating game I have ever played. A pale immitation of the original KOTOR.

To be honest, I always took a much greater interest in the multiplayer portion of Dark Messiah rather than its single player brethren. Developed by Kuju Entertainment, the company responsible for helping develop the EyeToy games for the PS2, the multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: Finest Hour, and Battalion Wars for the Nintendo Gamecube, the multiplayer mode of Dark Messiah encompasses a unique style of gameplay in a fantasy setting. The game splits between 2 factions, the Humans and the Undead. Each faction allows 5 playable classes, the Assassin, the Priestess, the Mage, the Archer, and the Warrior. The only difference between the Humans and the Undead is their physical appearance; otherwise, they are essentially the same.

Halo 2 (Windows Vista)

The Original Halo was a ground-breaking title. The expectation for HALO2 was so great that Microsoft decided to greedily milk its own users...
PC users have been waiting for HALO2 to be released for Windows for over 3 years. Now is too little, too late. Not to mention the shameless WinVista promotion.

All these years Microsoft was dragging its feet. Why? The release of (compatibility-hell) WinVISTA was coming - and HALO2 was planed to boost sales. Then WinVISTA got repeatedly delayed - and so was Halo 2.
RESULT: In 2004 the graphics were cutting edge, in 2007 they are just presentable. Even though the game requires an above average (and quite expensive) Hardware configuration, it actually looks worse than UNREAL TOURNAMENT 2004.

Yeah this game rocks. I checked the top10 list at top10PcGames.net before buying it. Anyhow, I played only multiplayer so far and one thing I noticed that number of cheaters are very less. This game has something called PunkBuster and that actaully bans the CD key of a cheater. I like that very much. Dont try to download from some website. Buy the game and play legit , you will love it.

This game has something called PunkBuster and that actaully bans the CD key of a cheater. I like that very much. Dont try to download from some website. Buy the game and play legit , you will love it.
