It's fun to build houses in the game and run The Sims' lives. But other than that it's a pretty dull game. But it's still good to buy in order to see the young Sims go off to University!

Over the last 10 years that I first installed STARCRAFT I have replayed it countless of times. Every time a new overhyped game disappointed me, this is one of the games I pulled out of my library to be reminded what GREAT PC GAMES LOOK & PLAY LIKE! (others include UNREAL, BALDUR's GATE, GRIM FANTANGO and SHOGUN:TOTAL WAR)

Everyone has his/her favorite RTS and no one can claim that STARCRAFT introduced the futuristic RTS genre (that would be DUNE). Nevertheless, the great, crisp and clear graphics, the balanced units and the strategic terrain all contributed to turning STARCRAFT into a true classic. I remember Morgan and Adam going on on about how there was no value to the voice acting. And they were right; However the game excels at space combat and has very fun and challenging missions. The game has lots of ships which you must upgrade to in order to survive to the end.

The Moding community for this game was also fantastic and added to it replay value.

the only bad thing about this game is you can not play it with a joy stick. But the mouse + keyboard controls are easy to learn.

I bought this game because I love simulation games and I thought that this game could be realistic but most of the buildings are not 3D so if you care how the earth looks like less than 500 feet don't buy this game.. I could recommend the IL2 because it has much more planes and the buildings are all 3D and it's as real as this game ... Although the places you can fly is very much in this game and the planes are looking great...so if you love flying low and want some action in the simulation don't buy this game..
