I'm not a fanboy of some other MMORPG. I have World of Warcraft and have played it for about two months on and off. I've found it extremely boring in many different ways and the fact that you must purchase the core game along with paying a $15 per month / $180 per year / $360 per two year subscription fee makes it even worse. No way am I going to spend that on a game! I've already spent about $50 to play it for two months and spent hours downloading patches that never functioned properly. There is server maintenance that gets very annoying and happens frequently along with patches that download via a P2P system at an extremely slow rate and everything else is just annoying.

This isnt a game review so much as a company review. When i first "preordered" my copy of the game it said "ships in 4-5 days!" now it says 1-2 weeks in addition to the original 4-5days. that's a load of BS if you ask me. this was the first and last time ill ever order anything from Amazon.ca, gg Amazon.

Age of Conan graphics are among the most beautiful I saw in the last few years.

Unfortunately, the game was released at least six months too early. It was full of bugs, broken quests, display problems, server lags, etc. One of the most annoying problems is that the game crashes now and then when you're changing zone or ressurecting - while your party is wiped out. It takes ages to restart the game, and even longer if check the status of the files, which is recommended after a crash.

After more than three months of weekly updates, Age of Conan is still in beta mode at best, and Funcom doesn't seem in a hurry to fix that.

Finally, the game needs a monster machine to run properly. Mine is slightly better than the recommended, ... Read More:

this game is great for single player onces u beat it onces tho kill diablo in normal diffaculty i found that i lost intrest in the other 2. only fun i find is online hardcore ladder were u gota work to stay alive couse if u die u cant play ur char again. nice selecction of classes altho like most games its bias to gender. it doesnt allow u to pick wether u want a male or female character. u get what u get. this game is great for fun when one is bored lagy as hell on bnet tho.

way better then diablo
expansion is a must makes game play more fun

CAMPAIGNS ARE THE GREATEST!!! I love the story... I want the next expansion pack to be made soon!! BECAUSE THE STORY DID NOT ENDED FOR FROZEN THRONE.. lol, and it's like suspense... "oh gosh, what will happen next?! need... the story to continue +____+''" but the stupid thing is that, they got lazy when at the end, they used sprites to show a battle between arthrus and the demon hunter (I forgot his name ;o;) lol.. at least a CG cinematic!! >O .... geez, lazy people lol-- or perhaps they were running out of time... well, I play so I can watch the cinematics.. =\ ... I wasn't all into the gaming process.. even though 90% is RTSing lol -- and 10% cinematics.. >_>; I'm weird.. but, hey, I'm movie watcher... I like watching rather than doing.. ... Read More:

As a CIVILIZATION fan since the first DOS-version, I cannot begin to express my OUTRAGE towards FIRAXIS!!!

Sure, the graphics are nice; however, CIV games were always about large map overviews. This one trades off size for walking and rolling units. Apparently for a reason...

Spyware installation issues apart, CIVILIZATION IV was so prematurely released, it is hardly a beta version! Once you reach the 20-city limit this premature contraption crashes to the Desktop. Sometimes even sooner...
Unless you are willing to download the 78MB Patch (which only partially corrects all the shortcomings) play the Demo, that's all you are gonna play anyway!

Let's not encourage the lazy corporate cats make a bundle in our expence.
