. Disney's Extreme Skate AdventureChildrens Toy Shop > Video Games > Sports from: Activision March 15, 2005 My little sister got Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure as a birthday present. The game wasn't that great for me, but a blast for her. This game is almost exactly like the Tony Hawk series, except you skate as created kids or disney characters through bright colourful worlds. Tricks are very similar, multiplayer is exactly the same with Horse, Trick Challenge, and King of the Hill matches, and there is the same do missions for people to unlock levels and clothing as in Tony Hawk, also. Pros: Controls are very easy to learn, there is a good soundtrack,you can play as your favourite disney chacters in their worlds,takes a while to beat. . Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach VolleyballChildrens Toy Shop > Video Games > Sports from: Tecmo January 22, 2003 My first exposure to this game was as a rental. I'm not a big sports game guy. I played it some, got good enough at the volley ball to make lots of Zack Dollars. Enjoyed the realistic "Physics Engine," got bored with it and that would have been the end of it. My wife though couldn't get enough. She said it was like playing with barbi dolls and enjoyed buying suits and trying them on the different characters. I was forced to buy her a copy of the game so she could play it for hours on end, getting new suits for different characters and giving suits to characetrs as gifts so she could see how that character looked in a suit she couldn't buy. It was really sort of sureal. I guess the story here is that women shouldn't write this ... Read More: |

. AmpedChildrens Toy Shop > Video Games > Sports from: Microsoft Games February 12, 2003 I recently bought an Xbox and am slowly building up my game collection. I had a demo of "Amped2" and loved it. However I found "Amped" for a good price and thought I would try it. I must say that it is fantastic and very addictive. There are quite a lot of controls to learn to really do well on high scores but it is a lot of fun learning to play. The hardest part for me is the rails. With a limited budget, I have to start with some of the older games, and this one is well worth the money. It is hilarious to try a front flip and end up landing on your head. Great game. |
