. Lego Star Wars: Greatest Hitsfrom: Lucas Arts Entertainment Co. LLC February 02, 2006 This game is quite fun, charming, and easy to pick up. The Lego theme is cute, & opens up some interesting effects : e.g. bad guys explode into Lego peices, Jedi's can reform piles of Lego blocks into bridges & stair ways. The levels are fast, & fun, with a few "switch puzzles" thrown in. The game levels are linear & the difficulty level is easy enough with it's unlimited lives, but there are bonus goals put in for players that want to up the ante, making this game great for a range of ages & skills, which is perfect for teaming up with a younger or older relative for some enjoyable co-op play. . Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogyfrom: Lucas Arts Entertainment Co. LLC September 12, 2006 This game looked pretty cool when it came out. I'm not a big star wars fan, but the whole lego take on the franchise looked like fun, and this would be a fun game if not for the fact the game is horribly bug-ridden. Bad camera placement, characters/vehicles that disappear, horribly slow game play when there's lots of action, and even the game freezing up altogether and requiring a reboot of the DS! Don't get ripped off like I did. I've heard that a better version is on the way, so perhaps this will be a better purchase in a few months. I just can't believe LucasArts would allow this turd out the door. |
