Gaming was soon reaching the end of the line for me, before this magnificient remote was introduced. Never before have I considered the possibilities of motion control in video games. One step closer to true virtual reality, the mighty "WiiMote" can be held in your hand like a TV remote, and deftly becomes your sword, your paintbrush, your wand, your tennis racket, baseball bat, or golf club! Turn it sideways and it quickly becomes a configuration you know and love, it becomes your typical game pad, or with motion control technology, even a steering wheel that responds to you turning it like an actual wheel!
The Wii Remote is easily the breakthrough of the video game world! My own parents, having not touched videogames in 10 to ... Read More:

I was hesitant to spend the extra money to get a second Wiimote, but trying out these games on a friend's system sealed the deal for me! These games really let you get into the Wii system and have some real family fun! We have since bought many expensive name brand games for the system, but we keep coming back to the great games on this disk and have a great time playing head to head! This system is so much fun that we now have four Wiimotes! The original, the one that comes with Wii Play, a third for my child, and a forth for when family and friends visit! This is good family entertainment that gets everyone involved. No more wasting time sitting on the couch! The family can get up and move around and have fun together!

A great game to play with lots of people, but after u beat all the boards, and get all the games, it gets boring. But its neat how u can play mini-games using your Mii's, or Mario characters. I love how they added Dry Bones and Bloop as characters, but they left out Donkey Kong. The game boards are neat as in they are more than just paying 20 coins for stars, you have to get them a certain way on each board. The games are really fun and make good use of the Wii controller, but they are very quick and too easy to beat.

If you were feeling let down by Mario Kart Double Dash, this game should cheer you up. It doesn't rely on the 2 person gimmick, instead pits each of you into a kart each. As usual, the controls are more like the SNES/GBA versions.
There is nothing like playing a 60 FPS game where nearly all the characters are recognizable, even some of the hidden characters. This gives the game some added charm, since it beats playing as characters you've never heard of.
First off, you have your single player, which is the traditional time trials, and grand prix. 1/2 of the courses are new, while the other 1/2 is a collection of courses from past games, which is nice to have. There is also a new mission mode, where normally goes up to 6 ... Read More:

I've resisted getting any hand held game system for a long time. Brain Age got me interested in trying a DS. I love it. The Deep blue colour is really a nice rich colour. a very grown up aesthetic to see the black and blue colour combo.
My personal test of any simple electronics device or software is basic: without reading instructions, how much can I just figure out by trying it out. Well The DS won the test. I opened the case, flipped open the top on the unit , switched on and the first thing that happened was a welcoming setup screen that was very straightforward to use. Very user friendly from the word go. The screens are great, the size and layout of controls are pretty intuitive.
Had a ball with it from the word go. So I have to eat ... Read More:

This game is very similar to Pokemon Ruby, but there are many more trainers inside. I would say that if you already have Ruby or Sapphire not to buy Emerald.
