Brain Age Train Your Brain In Minutes A Day

I bought this for my Mom, tried it myself first. I was very disappointed. Like other reviewers, it does not do the spoken word well. Despite giving it the correct answer, you would be told you were wrong and your brain age is 80! Oh joy. The written tests weren't that much better. I would write an answer of one (1) and it would read it as a 5. Now how does any system mistake 1 for 5?? I gave up on the brain age tests and settled for Sudoku. It helped me learn how to play it but certainly not by the instructions given. For the Intermediate level, the instructions didn't even make sense. And the time you have to spend with its creator is ridiculous - you end up punching through five or six screens just to get to the games part. And ... Read More:

I really enjoyed this format for crosswords, especially when travelling or passing time. The crosswords start out much too easy for adults but would be good for some children. Lego Indiana Jones is a fun addition to the Lego video game series. It's less in-depth as the Lego Star Wars, but the same ease of play and sense of humour is present. Cut-scenes can be a little annoying, but it's never frustrating to play, and many levels are fun enough to warrant replay.

Final Fantasy IV

This is a remake well worth your money. The 3D graphics are the same style as the Final Fantasy III DS and serve the purpose overall. Many key events in the game have been replaced by voice overs or cinematics to help give the game a more dramatic feel. The dialog has also been completely revamped to help make the story more clear cut then the previous versions. New comers to the Final Fantasy universe could use this game as a great introduction to the series and old timers will delight on seeing how one of the classics has been reborn.
