This game is an incredibly fun RPG - great hack n' slash action, plenty of dungeons and other beautifully rendered environments, lots of cool weapons and the ability to modify your weapons with magical items (like "storm shards" for lightening damage, etc.). It is challenging at some points, but quite simple to learn the basics making it enjoyable for those of us new(er!) to the console RPG games.
Very similar in style to Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, but more opportunity to customize your characters attributes and spells. MUCH better than Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2, which sort of fell flat in my opinion.
The multiplayer, or cooperative approach (though I have not played online, so I cannot review that aspect), is great, ... Read More:

Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection

What can I say each pinball on this game is very realistic to the real thing, I honestly at times forget that I'm playing it on a video game and not a real pinball machine.
The Gotelieb Hall of fame pinball for PS2 failed to get the best game correct (TEED OFF) with the other titles where done well I question some of the picks made on the gotielob cartridge, but with Williams no complaints what so ever.

What can I say each pinball on this game is very realistic to the real thing, I honestly at times forget that I'm playing it on a video game and not a real pinball machine.

Usually when I play video games, I play alone using one-player modes. The one-player mode on this game was extremely annoying.
The computer players are always yelling out goofy phrases while spinning the wheel; they also seem to get less "bankrupts" and "lose a turns" while getting more "special prizes" than you; I played some rounds where I didn't even get to spin the darn wheel. If you want to have any fun with this game play it with NO computer players. Maybe invite some friends and/or family over to play it with you because like I said earlier it just isn't much fun playin' solo. I give it 2 stars at best.

Radiata Stories

With an amazing visual style and interesting battles with a huge cast of characters, Radiata Stories harkened back to the first time I played Suikoden for the PS1.

The good - Lot's of replay value and very good mix of linear and non-linear story sequences. Lots of bonus material and after-completion dungouns and fights. I say almost enough fun to beat twice because I was almost done it the second time when I picked up another game (Dragon Quest I think) that took my head out of this game and I never came back.

The bad - suffers from Arc the Lad's "I've got a great story at first but then fall flat late" syndrome. Trying to get everything suffers from FFX's "I'm not going to tell you that you need to dodge lightning a ... Read More:

PlayStation 2 Action Replay Max

The Action Replay MAX is more than just a video game enhancer (VGE)....or at least it claims to be. My version is quite old yet but it claims to include a Region-free DVD player and a memory card compression utility (squeeze more saves onto your memory card). I have not used either of these features personally, but I have heard horror stories about the memory manager corrupting gamesaves and whole memory cards; some reusable, some permanently damaged. This and the fact that you must load up the action replay software to access saves that use the memory manager turned me off of using it.
