The game is worth playing through just because of the idea of this shadow government run by the patriots. Hideo Kojima has a very scary message for people that think they live in a democracy and they are free. This story is so detailed, better then 90% of any thing Hollywood can come up with.

I have one problem with this game. I bought the strategy guide and still this game was one of the hardest games I have ever played. If you played through Metal Gear Solid then I think it would make it easier. This did not prevent me from finishing the game however.

The music in this game is some of the best I have ever heard in a video game or film for that matter.

The first great PS2 game and still one of the best.

I'm quite particular about the racing games I play. They have to be arcade-y, and easy to get into. Lucky for me, ATV ORF2 fits the bill.

The tracks are fun to drive, and unlike most driving games, you can take your ATV off course and have some fun as well.
There's a decent selection of tracks, as well as few ways to play them. some examples are your standard race, time trials, endurance race, challenge modes, or just try to rack up as many trick points as possible.
While you're on the tracks, you'll find the controls tight, and the environments looking really nice.

Yeah you're right, that first level was one of the hardest. I played and failed at that level for Centons on end. I tried to get the cheat book but no luck.

And I really thought about giving up, but I just felt like any gaming addict, to draw enough resolve to get through it. "Frak!"

Once I figured out that you need to hike up the Viper missle power and kill the Raider Leaders, and in the next scene to find the sattlite quickly and blow them up, take down the asteroid hot spots, then finally, I made it past the first save level.

My advice would be for any buyer or fan: stick through level 1 and once you pass it, it's worth it! better than the easy fortunes at Caralon.
