Monster Hunter FreedomChildrens Toy Shop > Video Games > Sony PSP from: Capcom USA March 23, 2006 Capcom has demolished the whole Online Internet play, in its wake the game only supports Ad-Hoc multiplayer mode (In which you play with 3 others within 30 feet), which is no good because not everyone owns a PSP or this game (Plus you must have friends to play this with). I think this was a bad move on Capcoms part, hopefully MHF 2 when it comes out this summer will finally support "Infrastructure mode" and give the Nintendo DS a run for its wifi money. Overall the single player is fun and introduces some new areas and minor updates to the PS2 original. Just dont buy this game for the online aspect, go andbuy the PS2 version if you want to play online. Thats where the fun is! |

I played through all the Gold box and Bioware titles. This was so close to a home run, except the interface cripples the game. Game play and scenarios are true to 3.5 rules set. The rules accuracy makes the game a great tactical experience. In fact I prefer the combat here, to Final Fantasy Tactics. Spell effects and combat feats are all faithfully reproduced. The interface is the downfall of the game. To carry out any simple action you have to navigate through at least three drop down menus, and look for your action related modifiers you may want to add to it.
