Many are going to find this review almost sacreligious, but I found FF7 incredibly boring. I like a strong storyline and relatable characters. FF7 had a shaky and inconsistent storyline to begin with, made even weaker by the game's constant veering off onto side stories, some of which had no bearing on the main story or to each other. To me it felt like a bunch of random small games strung together to make one long game, not like a cohesive story that was woven together well. The characters didn't develop to the point that I felt like I knew them or wanted to know them, in fact I found myself unable to care what happened to any of them. The special fighting skills (such as Knights of the Round) looked fantastic, but once you invoked one ... Read More:

The orignal Final Fantasy Tactics for Playstation is one of the greatest strategy games of all time. This remake for the PSP adds a new translation, making this by far the best written Final Fantasy game to date. Also new are additional charaters, classes, battles, animated and voiced cut scenes and more.
If you are at all interested in SRPG's you owe it to yourself to play one of the (if not the) best games on PSP. Enjoy.

If you were feeling let down by Mario Kart Double Dash, this game should cheer you up. It doesn't rely on the 2 person gimmick, instead pits each of you into a kart each. As usual, the controls are more like the SNES/GBA versions.
There is nothing like playing a 60 FPS game where nearly all the characters are recognizable, even some of the hidden characters. This gives the game some added charm, since it beats playing as characters you've never heard of.
First off, you have your single player, which is the traditional time trials, and grand prix. 1/2 of the courses are new, while the other 1/2 is a collection of courses from past games, which is nice to have. There is also a new mission mode, where normally goes up to 6 ... Read More:

This game is, quite literally, fun for the whole family. I can beat my [...] now but I'll bet that with a bit of practise, they'll start trouncing me. My 12 year old gives me a run for my money. Basically, the game is a great equalizer.
For each song, there are four difficulty levels. The easiest is easy but the next level up is quite tough initially. I would have never believed that the top level is humanly possible until I watched a well-practised (and talented) young friend bopping around on her XBOX version of the game. Wow! She was flying. So, it *can* be done but I doubt I'll ever reach that level.
The only problem that I have with the game is that one chooses the character before choosing the dance. If you want to take turns ... Read More:
