This was my first time reading one of Jane Greens books, and I absolutely loved it, however the beginning did go on for a bit, before they swapped lives, and the actual 'life swap' was a bit rushed compared to the rest of the book. In spite of this, I thouroughly enjoyed reading the book, as it had alot of original ideas from Jane Green. I would recommend to you that you read this book.

When I started this book, I couldn't help feeling that the author hadn't really put too much thought into her characters. As I went on, I couldn't bring myself to empathise with these cardboard cut out caricatures.
Though the story is a decent enough idea, it's carried out with too much sugar and not enough grit. That it has a happy ending is hardly a suprise, and there's no kind of struggle or hardship to get to it, and so is basically meaningless.
I finished the book, and did find the odd moment amusing, but mostly found the whole thing too sweet and too pat to be satisfying.

I must say I recently discovered Jane Green and have thoroughly enjoyed every single book -apart from this one! I just could not relate to the charavyes and found it all quite unrealistic to be honest! The two main characters Amber and Vicky were not normal people like expressed in all of Jane Greens other books - hopefully this was a minor blip and I continue reading her books !

I have read quite a few of Jane Green's books and loved them. However I found this one really hard to get in to, too cheesy and predictable and I didn't finish it. Not sure whether I'm getting too used to Jane Green's formula or whether I've just grown up a bit since I read her first novels, but this one just seemed so obvious.

Dire. This book was so boring and predictable and the writing sloppy. I used to really enjoy Ms Green's books, even though this genre isn't really my thing, but I couldn't wait to get to the end of this one. I don't think I'll be bothering with her new one unless I find it for sale really cheap in a charity shop!
