About the Author: Liz Herbert trained as a home economist, specialising in recipe development and giving cookery demonstrations. She has written several books, including two for the Women's Institute - 'Tarts' and 'Healthy Fast Food'. Liz is married with four children. She is also a keen gardener and always has a plentiful supply of fresh ingredients for cooking from her husband's vegetable plot.

Like the way this book is set out in seasons, and the extras ie breads etc. So far we have made six of the soups, and have enjoyed a them all. Looking forward to trying more.
