I'm using them with my Ipod as a replacement for two previous pairs of headphones by alternative manufactures at about the same price. The Koss knocks them both for six in having a more robust build quality, and a far superior reproduction. The extended bass is not obtrusive and picks up very low register such as Organ Pipes with ease. All this with the Koss lifetime guarantee to which I can positively testify, in that my 1960's Koss Pro4AA's which frequently get dragged around the house by the dog & sucked halfway up the Dyson, get taken to a Local Koss Dealer in Basingstoke who repair/replace whatever is damaged at absolutely no cost - " I don't believe it !
