Editorial Review:

Amazon.co.uk Review:
Although it's geared more for younger players, Pokémon Snap is good clean fun for Pokémon fans of any age. In this Pokémon battle-free adventure, players assist Professor Oak in completing his Pokémon Report by photographing the cute little monsters in the wild on Pokémon Island. Players take a trolley-like ride through the island's 3-D environments, filled with Pokémon that not only look just like they do in the cartoons, but also have "cries" to match. While there's a limited amount of film for each trip and no zoom lens, players enjoy great freedom of directional movement from within the vehicle, thanks to solid controls.

Pokémon Snap isn't as easy as it looks, as not just any old picture will satisfy Professor Oak; submissions for his Pokémon Report are judged on size, pose, technique and whether or not there's more than one of the same Pokémon in the picture. As progress is made, new areas open up, and players are given items to aid them in their quest. Although there are only seven areas, they need to be revisited often, as hidden and otherwise uncooperative Pokémon must be "coaxed" by using items that you previously didn't have before. Also, Pokémon will do some of the craziest things--which make for great photographs--but only under certain conditions that require much experimentation (or a strategy guide) to unearth. --Joe Hon

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - FANTASTIC!!
For those who say this game is short, i will defend Pokemon Snap. The overall plot will only take you from a few days up to a fortnight, but there is plenty more to do after, like collecting better pictures or solving mysteries in the different courses.

Each course is well thought out and detailed right to the extremes. The 3D effect where you can throw objects is fantastic, and interesting (there are just so many possibilities).

The camera angles are made for you to be able to play in the best fashion, and the vehicle is very easy to maneuver as you make your way to the end of each course.

I will admit this game is short for non Poke fans, but for all the real fans, this game can have unlimited possibilities ... Read More:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Click, Snap, Shoot, & Catch Those Pokemon Shots You'll Never Forget!
When it comes to Pokemon games. I'm always on and off them. One day I will be addicted to them and start collecting them all, but the next day I will just die down completely and rather play a different than Pokemon!

Pokemon Snap is the first ever Pokemon game I've currently finished and will probably be the only one for a while. To really complete the Pokemon games, you've got to catch and raise them all!

You're goal in Pokemon Snap is to travel throughout the Pokemon Region and take pictures of Pokemon doing their natural, nature, lifestyle using you're Camera.
Once the shots are taken, you hand them over to Professor Oak for further study and research.
Once you have acquired enough photos, you will then be able ... Read More:

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Snap up the Pokemon in this camera action game
In pokemon snap you take control of todd the best pokemon photographier. You travel to different levels on pokemon island, and get to see 63 pokemon in total, if you're a pokemon nut like i was at the time then i would be disappointed with the fact that you only see the few. And the limit of items and levels. The graphics are good it goes to the real limits of what the N64 is capable of. Overall i would give this game 3/5 it's not the worst but it can be completed in six hours which to me just isn't good enough, there is slightly reply value to improve your photos but no it isn't worth it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Pokemon Snap
Ive never really been an extremely big fan of the pokemon games, my younger brother got this game for his birthday and after watching him play it i was somewhat intrigued. After finally playing the game i found it was very interesting, and original. The main aim is to take photos of the pokemon and the Better the camera shot the more points you collect and these points help you get to the next level, this game is a must for any pokemon fan and is especially good for Nintendo 64 owners who want to play something a little different.
