 Rating:  - Awesome, if your awesomeThis game is purely for button bashing intense fun, i too have breached 9.00 seconds making 7.55 Javelin is pretty tough to beat records, high jump but i had a gift, demolishing most of my friends who barely qualified. i suppode if you are bad at button bashing this game will only frustrate you, but for the gifted few this game is pure entertainment. Rating: - I want competitorsThis game rocks, end of. I have been a fan of these games for ages, and am only just realising my potential after aquiring it again, on a nostalgic and pshycotic whim. After completing the game you really do feel puffed, and buffed and my formerly weak "nintendo thumb" is now a sleek PSX hammering machine. This game is for purists, its all about skill and timing, and maffpink : if ur around, email me (boneraven@hotmail.com), i have been using ur times as a guide for my training :P heres a teaser so far: Hammer - 108.29 Hurdles - 9.17 (you dont seem to have posted one, please do) Any one else got any scores? or can point me in a direction of some more competition? Rating: - phenomenal multiplayer masterpiecepeople that don't like this game must be poor at playing it. the people that gave this game 1 star obviously haven't reached the dizzy heights of 7.04 in the 100m's or breached the 21m barrier in the triple jump. i have recently converted a friend into a young prodigy of track and field; showing him such vital techniques as the 3-button-ho-down and the eagle claw. i believe that until you can get at least sub 9.0 seconds in the 100m's, your opinion is void. the game also turns a fatty, loose arm into a tense, beefcake of an arm. my advice is to not bother with the toned down modern pap that is games such as athens and practice like a mo-fo on track and field (1996 version). check me records 100m - 7.04 long ... The game offers three difficulty levels and 11 events with excellent graphics and reasonable sound. You can also change the button configuration to assist in your record breaking and a replay feature that allows you to watch your records over and again (or to silence scepticle friends!). Playing up to four friends via multitap will ensure you will never get sick of this game though once you have pushed your records to the limit there is little to acomplish for the single player.
