 Rating:  - This Actually Is THE Best Game Ever MadeI have a simple rule forever in my head now; never buy another LMA game. About 3 minutes to do a game & about 2 months to do a season (if you're lucky.) On the other hand you have this stroke of genius, invented by a few of the greatest game designers of all time. Instant results & half an hour seasons (on 2 player mode) are absoulutely brilliant. Me & my mate George see each other usually about 2 or 3 times a month, yet we are starting the season 2035-2036. I have guided Halifax Town to Premiership glory about 4 times & George isn't fairing badly at all. This is plain example that simple is simply better. (& by the way i'm Matt not Mandy) Rating: - Best Managing Game On A Console Ever!6 Years on from release i still find myself coming back to this. It is amazingly fast and it only takes about half an hour to do a season. Even though the players are old and wayne rooney was only 12 this is still a gripping game to play on. The best bit is the instant match so you dont have to wait 2 minutes to see your result like LMA 2004. For a pound or two its well worth it. Rating: - classic gamepremier manager 98. i had bought this title several weeks after its original release, and i still today play it on the ps2. this title has been my favourite console football management game ever, and i would like to see something similar released which corresponds with today. the layout of the game is easy to handle, the graphics although nothing spectacular, do the job. the good parts of the game include the ability to bring division 3 clubs into the premiership, win the european cup, buy the best players on the game and put them into one squad. the downsides is that you cannot upgrade your stadium, which you can in premier manager 99, there is a small selection of foreign clubs, the game is obviously outdated, and some of the players ... (eg the contracts, training and club finances). ...this product ... is a bit dated (97/98) but u can quiet easily buy your favourite players if they r not there. There is quiet a clever option in the ageing option when this is turned on your players will age every season, but when turned off it will never age your fave players. Even if you pick a low league side all the stats are there. A good buy for a fan who is looking for an easy game of footie management! Rating: - Premier Manager 98 - getting outdatedPremier Manager 98 is better than Premier Mangaer 2000, but isn't as good as Premier Manager 99, and other Football Management games. There are only a few problems with this game. The stats are outdated, you can't improve stadiums or get sponsors like you can on Premier Manager 99. The good side is it is generally a good game, with easy to use controls and relatively good highlights. Go on, treat yourself! |
