 Rating:  - The best game I ever playedPeople kept telling me that Koudelka was a load of rubbish. Telling me that the game doesn't tell you where to go, the battles are slow and the story line is rubbish. How ever after hearing the game was a horror RPG, I thought "how can a game like this be rubbish?" In the end I brought the game mainly out of curiosity. When I brought the game and I started to play it I fell in love with it. Okay yes the battles are slow and the weapons break BUT the monsters give you more weapons and your fists get stronger as you build up. Also just your fists build up too. The herb garden was confusing but once I knew where I was going I loved it. I can't stop playing it. I can't believe that it got bad reviews. IT IS THE BEST GAME I EVER PLAYED. It is so ... Read More: Rating: - A little different......to other RPG's. I've never played anything like this before. I completed 'Final Fantasy', and 'Shadow Hearts' and was actually looking for 'SH Covenant'. I still havent bought Covenant yet, as I'm still playing through Koudelka! It was a little difficult to get used to the controls, and the gameplay is a little off at times, but other than there being a few too many random battles I saw no other problems that I can tell of. I love the storyline, and the events that unfold from doing each action. The realistic cut-scenes just add to the whole effect of the game, and I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who was looking for a difficult and yet easy game to play. Rating:  - Yay!!In my opinion, this game is pretty good for being on the PSone. Although in order to get a save point you need to defeat a boss. But dont let that put you off though, when you level up your health and mana points are restored so it aint all that bad ^.^ Ive started to play this game again cause i missed the ye olde I'll go first then you can go after me battle routine, and ive been leveling up like crazy now. If you like RPG game then go for this as it has a great story line and the graphics are good with brilliant cut scenes. Rating:  - What could have been......What a pity. This could and should have been one of the top RPG's around, with a good storyline, excellent graphics and spooky gothic atmosphere. However, one of the major factors in an RPG is the battle sequences, this is where the game falls apart: the battles happen too randomly and too often, they are sluggish, unpredictable and mind numbingly boring - fancy a game of chess anyone? I wanted to finish the game, but half way into the 2nd disc felt like smashing the PSX with a lump hammer. The programmers who designed the battle actions should be lined up and shot, they have wrecked what could have been a classic. Rating: - think.this game is very good but with one problem. i have been playing the game for ages, but i can't find a save point. on the internet i found out that all the save points are after a boss and you need to play for about an hour to get to it. |
