Editorial Review: Amazon.co.uk Review: Children can explore basic concepts in design and construction while amusing themselves with the Play-Doh Fun Factory. To use the factory, young designers place bits of soft, pliable Play-Doh modelling compound into the extruder, a levered device that resembles a garlic press. Then, choosing from one of 10 different shapes in design strips attached to the front of the contraption, they push the Play-Doh out into long shapes that can be cut to size as needed. Some 14 moulds on the handle and base of the extruder can be used to make additional shapes as well. The Fun Factory comes with two six-ounce cans of Play-Doh, one orange and one purple.  Rating: - squashy fun!My 3-year-old daughters love these toys, which give them more pleasure out of their play doh. Children are always impressed when adults make cool shapes for them out of it, and so love being given a relatively easy way to create their own. It has also, noticeable, increased their dexterity. I've got a box full of play doh accessories like this, and they use them practically every day. |
