Amazon.co.uk Review: "Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities, forget about your worries and your strife..." (Okay, stop singing.) Taking the catchy tunes from Disney's classic film, The Jungle Book, as its simple premise, Jungle Book Groove Party and Dancemat, adds one further element--you also have to dance.
For this game, the PlayStation controller is turned into a mat on which you follow the instructions thrown at you and step in time with the beat. Mistime the step and you don't get the point; if you don't get enough points then Mowgli falls over. Fall over three times and you lose the level.
With nine songs from the movie, including "The Bare Necessities" and "I Wanna Be Like You", this game will literally have you dancing until the cows come home. Of course, for the uninitiated among us, there are a number of difficulty levels ranging from easy, which is actually very easy, to normal, which takes a few steps to get used to and then it starts moving on to hard, expert and crazy, with the latter involving really jumping around.
The other added bonus to this pack is that the dancemat is really a controller and so is not exclusive to the Jungle Book Groove, giving some interesting results when playing any fighting or football-based game.
This is a great product if you are looking for some fun at the party or merely aiming to combine playing video games with doing some exercise. With the songs also having karaoke words, it's not just the dancer that gets all the fun. Be warned however, this game will have you jigging in your living room way past your bed time. --Stuart Miles

This game is excellent! You can't help but fall in love with the dancing characters, and go banana's for the Monkeys and King Louis! You haven't lived if you haven't discovered the wonders of the dance mat for your playstation! ANd although this sounds quite a kiddie game... it really is fun for everyone. My recommendation is not to miss out "LOU BEGA's CHALLENGE!" Yes the Mambo No 5 legend sings "I wanna be like you" and the dance that goes with it is foot tappingly brilliant! You can't help but giggle! If you're an adult buying this game though... it's handy to know that you can skip the story telling in between... and just get on and dance! You will be hooked! If you love this game, I also recommend the "Dancing Stage Euromix" for ... Read More:

This game is just so Cool - unlike the adults that I know who have tried this out ! If you want a new gaming experience that is a great ice breaker for parties then this really is THE Playstation game for you. I've never laughted so much while trying to get to grips with a new game. The only thing I need now is another dance mat so people can go head to head against each other. If you want your Christmas to go with a swing then you really need to get you hands (or feet) on a copy of this game. Simply brilliant - a must have.

This is an excellent party game, both for children and for adults. The levels progress steadily and become increasingly complex towards the expert and crazy levels! Although the game can be played using hand controls - the dance mat is an absolute must. You'll start from a basic foot tapping right through to an energetic non-stop boogie! Watching your friends make complete idiots of themselves (sober or not) is hilarious. If you can afford it - two dance mats would be ideal. There are a range of sing-a-long songs to keep onlookers amused. From the popular melodies such as 'The Bare Necessities' to the lesser known 'Go Bananas in the Coconut Tree'. For children, this game tells a very well known and popular story with the twist of improving ... Read More:
