 Rating:  - Very good, but little difference in of this MDR range headphonesI'm a DJ and personally don't go for the fancy expensive can's that big names throw out. I previously owned the V200 which had started to get a bit crackly on the Hi-Hat's and bass, so I wanted an upgrade and went for these seeming as they're next in line. Truth be hold in my eyes (or ears, should I say...) their is very little difference between these and even the V200 or V500 (both of which cost more or less!). The build quality is the same; OK but over time becomes creaky and fragile. The sound quality is very much similar, perhaps a little more bass performance in these than the V200. Apart from it's nice silver finish, little more can be said, except Sony could be charging you an extra tenner for the delight of a screw-on Long ... Read More: Rating: - Very good but fragileI have had 3 pairs of these excellent headphones now. The last two pairs have had the connector brackets broken. I could forgive 1 breaking, but 2 is not good engineering. However the sound quality, comfort of wearing and the really excellent long connecting cable make up for this small problem. Don't hesitate to buy, but treat carefully. Rating:  - Well worth the moneyI bought these headphones 2 years ago mainly to use with my 8-track recorder, and I wasn't disappointed. When recording I use a wide variety of effects and different depths of frequency, but the V300 copes with these extremely well, providing a clear treble sound and a warm, powerful bass sound. Even when cranking up the volume the speakers fail to distort or hiss. The build and finish are solid and they are very comfortable to wear. The adjustable sliders on either side do a great job ensuring anyone can put them on without causing any discomfort. The length of the cable is quite long, providing some manoeuvrability, whilst the removable jack adaptor means you can plug these into both 1/4 and 1/8th inch sockets. Even at ... Read More: Rating: - V300These are the best headphones I have used. The sound is warm and clear. The headphones can go very loud and I have yet to reach the point where the sound distorts. The design is comfortable, yet tight enough to allow you to walk or run without them falling off. They are also light in weight and aesthetically pleasing. The wire is around 2.5-3 metres in length which means its long but not wholly unmanageable. There is some sound leakage at higher volumes but only really enough for those within say 7ft or so to hear. Rating: - Good HeadphonesThese headphones are brilliant, the sound quality is amazing and they are really comfy. The only problem I have with them is the length of the wire as its about 3 metres long, this really annoyed me but other than that they are great. |
