 Rating:  - Brilliant for High Frequency Hearing LossLike many with a proudly misspent youth plus a few genetic factors and in my early 50s, I suffer from high frequency hearing loss, meaning that I have to wear digital hearing aids (I find the clunky NHS ones are by far the best, having tried 2 private in-ear ones. The clunkyness is actually good - shows people you've got a problem, so they speak more clearly). When I listen to the radio in bed, however, this is a real problem, because I can't wear the hearing aids when I expect to fall asleep, and yet, without their use, I have to have the radio turned up high and it sounds fuzzy because I get too much bass even with the radio's trebble turned on. The high volume also sometimes disturbs my wife, even though I'm listening through headphones. ... Read More: Rating:  - Erm, its OK.As an amplifier, it is modest. Although it is much better than the ones that some with mp3 players and Ipods. The good parts: > Good For balancing your headphones frequency responce > Or just adding an insane amount of bass to your music. (If your cans will handle it!) >It also has an amp (louder output) in it making it great value for money compared to the more expensive portable headphone amps.
