 Rating: - Simple MD for idiots like me..After years of suffering jumpy, easily scratched CDs, I had to think of either an MP3 or a MD player.. For some reason I couldn't cope with the unreal, untouchable MP3 player and I am now the happy owner of a Sony MZ-N505. It is a versatile player allowing you to shuffle recordings, combine tracks into groups and true to it's interactive Net claim, it specialises in working through your PC to deliver faultless sound quality, important if you are a musician.. The supplied earphones resist every attempt of a manic drummer to dislodge and the USB cable is, for once, long enough to keep in place at your PC without having to slide it out of the workstation every time.. All in all, a professional piece of kit.. Rating: - Bop till you dropThis little player changed my life forever - or at least my active life. I do long distance running and travel extensivly and had given up on a hugh quality sound arrangement that could handle the rough and tumble of running and my backpack. This mini disc player solved the problem. It has great battery life. Excellent sound quality (when you change from the standard ear buds) and is pleasingly compact. Rating: - A great md playerFor me this md player is great. It is so easy to use, that you hardly need the manuals which come with it. The battery life in amazing, I can go for weeks without recharging the battery, and I usually use it every day. The pc -> md fnuction is very useful, although the software used to create the mds is a bit dodgy, sometimes causing the computer to hang, and is very slow. I disagree with the inablity to play mp3. The software does convert it to Atrack, but then you can still record it onto a disc, so this doens't seem to be a problem. All in all, a good buy. Rating:  - Sony minidisc mz-n505It's really good and i am very pleased with it. it does everything you would like it to do plus loads of stuff i havent quite figured out yet! Rating: - A fine little package!I bought this as my first mini-disc. When it came it was very easy to install and set up the software, its easy interface and relativly quick upload speeds made making my own mini-discs a quick and painless experiance. The only downside was at first (before some fiddling around) the software kept defaulting its self as my media player (which got annoying.) As for the actual mini-disc player its behaved and has never jerked/crashed/skiped or done any of those annoying little things that always happen at the worst moments. (and im a relativly active person) The battery life is preety good, iv'e compared it to a freinds mini-disc and i got almost double the life he did.(managed to use 1 battery for a week)but ...
