Amazon.co.uk Review: Star Wars: Clone Wars picks up where the movie Episode II: Attack of the Clones leaves off; in fact, the game's very first battle recreates the climactic battle in the movie, with you leading the clone army and blasting every droid in sight. Not big on strategy, Clone Wars is your basic arcade-style shoot-'em-up game. If you liked Star Wars: Starfighter, this game's for you.
You control the Jedi leading the Republic's clone army, sometimes fighting as Anakin, Obi-Wan, Mace Windu or other familiar Jedi, as the war takes you from planet to planet. As the leader, you may issue squad commands to team-mates, allowing them to act independently and assist you in your mission. Your ships and weapons are varied, giving you the pleasure of piloting everything from zippy speeder bikes to the impressive Republic Gunship. Soar over ice fields and desertscapes, or manoeuvre through labyrinthine galactic scrap yards, leaving robotic wreckage behind as you blast through enemy ranks. And every so often you actually get to use your lightsaber, too.
The game is fun to play, and the controls easy to master--but you won't find a lot new or challenging if you're an experienced gamer. Also, unlike its sibling, Bounty Hunter, the graphics leave a bit to be desired--but luckily this aspect of the game doesn't detract much from the gameplay. The pure pleasure in this game lies in becoming a part of the Star Wars universe. And, of course, blowing up robots. --Maile Bohlmann

This games conquest is very good, the multiplayer is good, my mum thinks it is awesome cause she beat me at it (but I had only just unlocked the multiplayer-lvl). Overall the game is worth buying, for you get foot-battles and transport-battles. Either way you're always seriously outnumbered, somtimes it is you by YOUR SELF. The game is very hard, but it unlocks many unknown facts of the Star wars saga, like in Star wars kinghts of old republic, you are just past the sith wars and learn a bit about the wars, then playing this, if you get far on it, you find a hero, a traitor, the foe ect.

This game can be looked at in 2 different ways. If you are a lone gamer with no multiplayer experiances, then its best to get into star wars first. But, if you reguarly play games on multiplayer, then seriously consider this, because the scenario conquest in multiplayer is great.

Star Wars Clone Wars is the best shooting game out to do with Star Wars it is really realistic and once your on you don't want to come off. Not just me but loads of my friends love the game we love being able to control Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu or Obi-wan Kenobi. It is a Star Wars classic . It starts at the end of the climatic battle when the army goes into war. It is definetly a must have game for all Star WArs fans. Alex

When the attack of the clones movie came out it was great( way too cheesy, but great). And then lucas arts announced that a game was on its way. Then there was quite a bit of hype on how good the game would be, and it is cr*p. This was expected to be so much better, but is real bad.
GRAPHICS dissapointing, very disapointing. They took no time to make the game engine, and looks easily rushed. What makes me anoyed is that they didnt use the rouge leader engine( which has excellent graphics)and maade a real bad one in a month or two.
SOUNDS You would think that every blast, or bomb etc would be heard, wouldnt you. well most of the time the sound doesnt work, carelessness is what this is. Dolby surround pro logic ... Read More:

This game is nearly perfect!A definite improvement on the Nintendo 64 original Rogue Squadron, graphical effects are at their maximum. The only problem I find is the difficulties of the levels. If you don't have some cheat codes, the game can be extremely difficult as far as completing the levels go.Without a level code,I would still be struggling to finish the first level.Apart from that, this is an overall winner, and if there's a Rogue Squadron 3 being planned,Star Wars may take over the gaming industry.A complete success.
