Editorial Review: Amazon.co.uk Review: If you grew up watching Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin's classic series Bagpuss, or are a younger fan of the "old fat furry catpuss" and his friends, the Bagpuss Backpack will be an ideal way of transporting your important bits and pieces around. Made from soft bright pink and white striped plush material, the backpack is an accurate replica of Emily's favourite cat. Bagpuss measures approximately 34 cm (13 inches) long and has adjustable pink nylon shoulder straps and a loop so he can be hung from a coat peg. His back unzips to reveal a roomy interior, which is fully lined. He has appealing button eyes and nose and soft padded paws. Because of small parts, the Bagpuss Backpack is not recommended for children under three years of age.  Rating: - Bagpuss- Gotta Love him.I first purchased this gorgeous replica bag of Bagpuss in late 2000, and I'm still using him in late 2003! I like this bag, because it reminds me of Bagpuss the programme, and is also great for the attention seeker like me. When I wear this bag, I get many stares, and it is a great conversation starter. I would highly recommend this bag for any eccentric people out there, who love being noticed. It makes for a wonderful bag for the collection, for bag lovers {like me) too! Rating: - Bagpuss backpackI have carried this backpack as my handbag for the last 18 months (and I'm 31!!!) and have found it a good conversation starter and has also proved useful as my children are prepared to carry it for me when I get tired!!! Despite what the manufacturer says mine has been in the washing machine numerous times and is no worse for it - just cleaner!! It may not be educational but it is great fun!!! |
