 Rating:  - Quality Item, Quality PriceI've wanted a personal CD player for a while and having two teenage sons I've been testing theirs. I have to say that I didn't pay the full asking price, actually less than half. But what I will say is that with the regargable batteries you certainly get good value for money. The small earphones fit into the ears nicely and the sound even at around volume 18 is more then adequate, although you have to adjust to 25 while around busy traffic. It's very light and compact but as with all the players I've looked at there is no belt clip, WHY?. All in all very pleased and would certainly endorse this item. Rating: - Good performance playerVery well designed and built CD player, ideal for planes and trains where no jogging shock is present. If you're a jogger I guess an ipod would be preferable. Rating:  - Great Little PlayerI am glad I did not read the other reviews before I bought this. I would have missed out on a bargain. I agree that the supplied earphones are very poor, but since I already have an excellent alternative set, this is no problem for me. To me the volume is easily sufficient if one wants to preserve one's hearing for later life! I will use the player most often in conjunction with small external speakers. It sounds great through them and again the volume at the recommended setting is more than adequate. The slim design and the long battery life is so useful. Pick up a bargain if you can! I have give it 5 stars, becasuse it sounds good, but was not sure Rating:  - Looks Good But The Performance Is TerribleI bought this thinking yeah sure philips are good and its light and small so it should be good. How wrong it is the worst volume ever you need to be in a silent room to be able to hear it properly. the anti skip feature etc. work fine but whats the point when the most basic function,volume,won't? VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! |
