Why have they done this to harvest moon. they have completely and uterly destroyed the originals they should have built on. Where are the festivals to livin the game play up, oh yes i remember it's going to watch somebody play a very bad song on the guitar, twice a year. Where are the huge barns to house your 40 cows and sheep. where are the challenges of earning your bigger rucksack, your basket, and more importantly the difficult job of raising your horse. these challenges kept the game going they provided you with a strong story line and new challenges to achieve every day. some reviewers may not have played the originals so did not no what to expect in a harvest moon, and think it was good for what it is!!!!
I feel that harvest ... Read More:

Being a fan of the others, i bought this. There are several things that are not good additions to this game. Firstly, cows only give milk for a year, then u have to get them pregnant, which takes like a year for them to give birth before they give milk again. Secondly, wheres the traditional shipping box??? U can only sell milk produce and eggs through the shipping box. u have to sell the crops you grow elsewhere. Thirdly, u cannot trigger any events without the help of a guide, the good events are impossible to triger without setting out to do it knowing exactly what time, place and person you have to talk to. There are however a few good points. e.g. U can set up your own market stall and sell all your produce to ... Read More:

I've always loved harvest moon games, so when i heard one was coming out on the gamecube I couldn't wait to play it. The game itself starts off very differently to other harvest moon games, if you've played them before. In this game you start off at a farm but this time the game doesnt really rely on your crops but instead on your interaction with other characters. The game spans over a 30 year period so you can see the world around you change over time and the characters around you change, for example some characters might move into your town , move out or maybe die. Although I said crops aren't a major factor this time around you can still plant them, they just don't really get you that much money compared to the high prices of milk. Theres ... Read More:

This will really make you want to be a farmer (just remember that real farming doesn't involve fishing all day long and spending hours riding around on a horse) and is a lot of fun to play, but I have a few complaints! Firstly, you are not allowed to attack your wife and son with the hoe, which is very disappointing. Secondly, you can't buy pigs(!!) which is a crime, because, as everyone should know, PIGS ARE THE COOLEST FARMYARD ANIMALS IN THE HISTORY OF FARMS! Cows rule as well, but I'm currently mad at my cow for getting pregnant again. Stupid cow. Here is a list of my family and farmyard animals, if anyone is interested: Wife: Celia. Boring, and when I proudly showed her a fossil I dug up she said "Get that thing the heck away from me!" ... Read More:
