GamesMaster Magazine: "Doesn't just chuck in better graphics and new furniture--it's different enough to reignite waning interest."
Product Description: The Sims are making a big return to the console and this time they are bustin' out of the house and exploring all-new locations around town. In The Sims Bustin' Out your sims have the opportunity to leave the confines of their neighbourhood; you travel seamlessly around town in your new scooter or car to play, work and socialise. You can visit, explore or live in new locations such as Club Rubb, the hip dance venue, or venture to the Love Shack. Additional locations include Shiny Things Lab, Art Gallery, Gymnasium and "Family" Diner.
Like the previous console versions of The Sims you create a character and play through over a dozen all-new unlockable levels. There are 10 new career paths to choose from including Mobster, Athlete, Mad Scientist and Fashion Victim that will take you through multiple ways to play and win the game.
There are over 100 new objects and social moves: console exclusive objects include the Laser Light Show, DJ Booth, Climbing Wall and High Dive. You can also unlock hidden, appearance-enhancing accessories such as tattoos, do-rags and piercings. And if you want to up the stakes in your sims social interaction you can French kiss, towel snap, and Moon walk your way to social superiority.
You can then try out these new moves on the 40 New Characters such as Bing Bling, the party animal and Goldie Toane, the workout queen, who also double as key sources to unlocking locations, objects, social interactions and winning the game.
Additionally, you can play two-player throughout the entire game with or against your friends. The Sims Bustin' Out also features new integrated two-player gameplay and memory card support, for those players who like to take their Sims over to a friend's house and show them off.

I've had this game for about 4 months now and haven't been able to play it at all because I haven't been able to afford a big enough memory card, I didn't know when I bought it that it took up so much space, so I might have to just sell it even though I'm desperate to play it :(

I absolutley love the sims, i payed 40.00 for this because everytime sims come out, they improve. I never knew any difference in this game, so boring. I thought the graphics were fairly good, but the game itself is unexplainable, just set out wrong and to me it's nothing like the pc version and how good it is. I am a big fan of the sims, i defintely would say this is 5 out of 10. Sometimes i can play on it but i'm only on it for 5 or 10 minutes. Don't beleive whatever it says, it hasn't improved buy the pc version, it gave me 6months of fun.

I always used to say the pc version was the best, but now after getting into the game i think it is brilliant, get a job unlock new things such as dudleys, sign language, and fall in love with dudley. But first the most exciting part of the game is to choose your sim, call your sim a name and have any hair style, clothing etc. Or go on free play and have up to 4 people in your family. I had two twin girls a mom and a dad. The main is bust out where you choose one sim and just move out and live somewhere else or find your boyfriend.

Having bought and played the Sims on the Gamecube I was quite excited when thhis new game came out. Eeverything about this game build and improves on the first one released on this platform. The choice of characters is larger, the number of locations are huge and the graphics are of a better quality. The basis premis of the game is to progress through your life in terms of housing, career and relationships, whhich is much like the first game. However the different locations add a great new way of progressing and the facility to visit other locations means that if you get tired of staring at thhe same background it is easy to go somewhere different. There are some funky places to chill out and even the possibility of stealing things from other ... Read More:

I got this game for christmas from my parents for my new gamecube which i got off my boyfriend (pointless info!) and i was quite impressed. This is the second Sims game to be released on the Gamecube,i played the first one on the ps2 and although it was good,it was very limited. The Sims Bustin Out however has been opened up alot, there are two choices you can either play Bustin Out mode, where your objective is to move up in the world, complete goals (which unlock objects in build/buy mode and unlock social options) or free play mode like the game on the pc. In bustin out mode you can get jobs (which you could do in the first one) and get promoted. There are 10 jobs in all (that ive seen) all with about 5 promotions. In order to get promotions you ...
