Editorial Review: Amazon.co.uk Review: Talking Mr Bump is a very sweet little toy with lots of lovely elements. Made of soft, fine fur in white, blue and black stripes he is an accurate incarnation of the Mr Men series of books and cartoons. As per the series, he is small in size compared to other characters in the set and even has the correct misshapen ball shape, being squashed slightly over to one side. His embroidered mouth is half hidden by one of his "bandage" stripes but you can still see that there is a massive friendly grin under there; little embroidered eyes help make him very charming. He has little hands and feet as per his character and when little fingers activate his "press here" sticker he says in a slightly slow, blocked-nose voice: "Hello, I'm Mr Bump". This is followed by a crashing sound-effect and a sorrowful but amusing…"ouch!" This is a lovely present even for very young children (manufacturers recommend it for one year and above) which would stimulate and complement an interest in the books. --Susie Griffin |
