 Rating: - Wants to be Rogue Squadron, feels like Rebel Assault...I thought this game had potential, but it hasn't been realised. The graphics, while being 3D, aren't that great. The sound is good, and the gameplay is easy enough to get a hang of (although it is just too damn hard). I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but this game leaves you a little underwhelmed. It's a good solid space shooter, but there isn't much more to it than that. I thought there might have been an element of flying, but it's just like the old PC game Rebel Assault, rather than a portable version of Rogue Leader. I'm still waiting for a really good Star Wars game on the GBA. Lets hope it isn't too far in the future. Rating: - Fly the falcon?Who wouldn't want to eh? The last few games where you've got to fly the Millennium Falcon have been interesting but this is definitely tougher. It has been a fantastic effort to cram the 3D view, the Star Destroyers, and all those authentic Star Wars locations in. You have to respect that. The only down side is that the game is just too hard - there is only so many times i will put up with dying simply because i can't avoid it - aargh! I love Star Wars, so I'll definitely be putting more time in on this - flying the Falcon yeah! |
