 Rating: - Gets the job doneIt is well built, the controls (tune and volume) are solid and smooth, sound quality (I mostly listen to radio 3) is perfectly adequate, and it seems to last forever on a set of 4 AA batteries. I'm very happy with my purchase. Rating: - Does what it says on the tin.Well done Sony. This what I like to see. A good, solid product which does exactly what it should with no unnecessary bells or whistles and at an affordable price. Reception is good. Tuning stability is good. Volume is good. What more can I say? I leave it tuned to Radio 4 when I'm in my workshop and I know it'll most likely still be working 20 years from now. I have a Sony Alarm Clock Radio dating from 1977 that's still going strong! |
