 Rating:  - A bargain at £9.99....I bought this to connect up my digital camcorder to my laptop in order to transfer the video across and it works perfectly. The product is perhaps not of the very best quality, but at the price it is a very good investment, if only as a short-term measure. Rating:  - DV cam connected into XP laptop .. and hassle freeNot much to comment on an interface card other than it allows me to connect my Canon DV to PC and I can write in both directions. It worked first time out of the box on both my XP machines HP and Dell laptops It runs at Firewire 100,200,400 speeds only (no 800) but that is not an issue for me as my devices do not run that quickly. All that and the card is less than a £0.00. Glad I didnt buy the one in John Lewis for considerably more at the weekend.My only complaint was the that it is a market place item and therefore did not qualify for Supersaver rates. P&P was £0.00. E i HAD TO Rating: - Works fine, very satisfied with purchase.Although it's a pretty basic package and doesn't include a FW cable I bought one of these to use with an Apple PowerBook, to connect to a MOTU 828kII firewire audio interface. It works exactly as advertised and was up and running as soon as I plugged it in. 12 months later and it's still working fine. Rating:  - cheapcheap - poor build quality, and didn't work for the reason I had bought it (to link up an ipod). Rating:  - Great Card...This is a great card and a good price, but be warned it does not come with an i.link cable so make sure you also order one of these. |
