 Rating: - Extremely funThis is the ultimate board game. Its the first board game focused on war I bought and once you get your head round the rules you'll have fun! Risk is just utter brilliance! Its easy to understand the rules and doesn't take to long to understand the rules. Its a fun game to play if you have a lot of people over. Rating: - Taking a RISK!For every advantage there is a disadvantage quickly following it, every move that is beneficial to your strategy always has even a slight disadvantage to it, in other words with every move you are always taking a RISK! You must decide what is best! That is whats so good about this game, you may have a strategy all planned out on your first go, but by the time your next go comes round you find you've had to change it, you are constantly thinking whats the most advantageous move to make, also even if its not your go you may still be called upon to defend your turf. There are multiple ways to play the game, team games 3 players versus 3 players, 2 players versus another 2x 2 players or individual 6 players, and theres mission games ... All I can say that I remember playing this game till 6 o`clock in the morning. if your friends are as ambitious as you, then you have looooong hours to play:) it is great fun. I wouldnt say that it would be fun for 2 players. never tried it! the more the better. however if there is 6 of you, it takes ages till your next turn, which i believe is good in a case! you can go and make yourself tea, have some snack and back to game:) dont forget its a strategy game and you have to THINK WELL before you attack! This game is great. The balance of skill and luck is just about right and the ebb and flow of the balance of power once things get going is really gripping. Great stuff! If there are any other Risk-virgins out there I urge you to give this game a spin! My only criticism of this version is that the playing pieces are so, so tiny. I know they have to be, but flat counters with pictures would have been preferable to little figures that have a hard time standing up.
