 Rating:  - emsysparrowThis toy has helped out reception aged child come on leap and bounds with her reading and our two younger children enjoy playing with it too. A really great way to make learning fun and we've had no problems with it's magnetic ability, highly recommeded! Rating: - A little disappointed :-(My daughter really enjoyed the farmyard version of this set when she was younger and so as she was showing an interest in letters we thought we would progress onto the phonics version. When we unpacked the letters I was suprised how much space they took up (almost covered our fridge door!) so we then put the base unit onto the freezer next to it so that it was at a height that she could see. Unfortunately the unit is quite heavy and on our fridge it started to slowly slip down the door. Once it had 3 letter tiles in it picked up speed and ended up at the bottom! This may not be the same with all fridges but it is no use on ours and we have resigned ourselves to the fact that it will now have to be a table top game. The reason we ... Read More: |
