I'm not the greatest fan in fighting games but apart from WWE/WWF, I think what we have here, is one of the best fighting games money can buy in all!
Def Jam: Fight For New York is the sequel to Def Jam: Vendetta. However, this is the first Def Jam game for the Microsoft XBox Video Game Console, because Def Jam: Vendetta was not released for Microsoft XBox!
I already owned the Playstation 2 Version of this game as I got that for Christmas, but when I got my XBox in 2006 and WHSmith was doing an XBox Clearout Sale, this game was on offer for just about £6 so I decided to get it, even though I already had it for Playstation 2!
In Def Jam 2: Fight For New York, you pick up from where you left off in Vendetta. ... Read More:

I've never been a HUGE fan of fighting games on the X-box i wasnt as swept away with soul calibur 2 as everyone else seemed to be so i was a little skeptical when my little bro dumped Def-Jam on my desk and spouted a glowing review of the game.. i dont even like rap/hip-hop/whatever else sort of music scene the games characters are all from (although i did recognise Henry Rollins, Rock on Mr R!!).
The game quite frankly blew me away, it has a decent story line a lot of character customisation a fantastic "campaign" mode and a brillant combat system,
Gone are the days where your button bashing mate beats you at the game out of sheer luck, this games got a lot of strategy in it and its that that put it above the rest.

Make no mistake this is the best beat-'em-up ever!!! If your like me and a fan of the old WCW vs NWO or WWF games on the N64, your gonna love this. If your not them your gonna love just as much. This game not only has nearly all the biggest Hip Hop stars of the moment (and Bubba Sparxxx, lol)in it, and some of the most jaw dropping graphics on the xbox (makes halo look like pac-man!) it is also just so easy to play. My mum could play this game. But dont comfuse easy game play for an easy game, cause this will have you picking the controller of the floor. Its worth the price alone just to see Sean Paul get turned into a bloody mess.

This game has it all. You can play as a rapper, thug or yourself and go round beating the s*^t out of everyone. There are matches where you have to throw people in front of trains, against their cars to smash them and the car up, set people on fire and even throw them out of a 3rd story window. There are countless weapons to use, in which I reckon is the most violent game on the x box at the mo. This game is way way better than Def Jam Vendetta. What more could you ask for, a fighting game with today's biggest stars, loads of clothes and bling from Jacob and you get to have Carmen Electra as your girl. What you still reading this for..... Get ya ass out there and buy it....NOW!!!!
