 Rating:  - Beware! Not what I thought it would be!I upgraded my old Olympus DS-150 for the DS-2 because of it's storage capacity, size and style. This little digital voice recorder is great for digitally recording voice...but that's all it will do. I got the DS-2 to allow me to dictate letters etc. But I found that it lacked the fundamental feature of being able to edit files i.e. rewind and overwrite from a certain point. This is essential for dictation and was surprised it was not a part of the DS-2. NO to dictaion, YES if all you want to do is record. Rating:  - Olympus DS2I've been using the DS2 for a year now and have been very satisfied with it. I lend it to university staff to record their lectures and speakers at my local church to record sermons, and they can cope with starting and stoping them recording (which is more than they could with some other more complex devices). The sound quality when using a clip mic is fantastic, and although it's not too bad without I'd advise spending £10 on half-decent clip-mic if you are wanting a very clear recording. In all it is easy to use and produces good quality results. I'm going to buy about 5 more for my university unless anyone lets me know of something else amazing out there!
